I'm gonna go with supervisee, then contrary, then conflicting. It's hard to criticize your conflicting partner because there's a communication barrier which is very frustrating.

Joy if you don't know your type, how do you know what relationships you have with those people?
Well I am back. How's everyone? Don't have as much time now, but glad to see some of the old gang are still here.

And I was trying to VI your pics and they looked like a girl that I know here who I thought was ESTP, but I guess she is INTJ? She is just too forceful and political, and schemes all the time, and tries to get me involved. Am I off the mark here or are you starting to look like your significant other?

I can be forceful if I'm passionate about something and oh so sure of it, but not as a rule in my day to day interactions. I'm political but mostly keep that to myself. The scheming, never. I have a hard enough time with interpersonal interactions to be worried about scheming.
How close are you to her? I rarely get even my closest friends involved in my affairs.

I don't think I look like my husband but we've been together for 8 years and you what they say about pets and owners.

Like she makes political schemes, she gets people on this side or on that side (usually her side), so I thought it was some form of Se, prob ESTP, but she looksremarkably like you. And she also is the boss in her relationships and even tries to boss me around, and she is a year younger, and she also copies thingsthat I do, like courses I took, jobs I had, etc. Its' quite annoying. And she is not interesting, I always find that interactions with her involve me yielding to her for something or other. But she looks exactly like you in that picture with the grad hat on.

Oh sorry! That's my sister, she's INFp I think. The only thing that sounds like her is the being the boss in relationships thing (she tries this with me but I won't let her).
Most of the description sounds like ESTp to me except for maybe the copying

When I think about my past relationships with them, in all honesty, despite the fact that I find it quite suprising that the scenario actually turned out this way, I would have to say I criticize ENFps most often.

It's probably easiest to criticize the supervisee, the INFp -- with the conflictor there is a feeling that there is no point.

Apart from that, I can recall no particular preference if you're talking about direct criticism.

    Nice quote Starfall.

Easiest to criticize supervisee, lookalike, benefactor, comparative. In that order.

hm its hard for me to criticize people but i guess some make me feel that i can do so without conflict, or with which i feel sure enough about what i a m saying to say it. I think those types i end up criticizing most are my supervisee, beneficiary, illusionary, activity partner. the arguments i wnd up winning? supervisee, activity. They think they won but i did: beneficiary, illusionary.

After thinking it over, ISFJ, then ENTJ. Don't know if it has to do with type, though both of them are asymetrical. And I apparently have the "upper" hand (though I wouldn't like to think about it like that) in both.

I hate being criticized myself especially by my mother who's type is still uncertain. ESFJ I think...or ISFJ...

I criticize my friend ESFJ whenever she does something wrong and bossy or just plain stupid.

I criticize ESTPs sometimes just because their actions/whatever sounds stupid or wrong.

I don't criticize often, only when I feel like they're really wrong and needs some slaps.

What kind of criticisms do you tend to make regarding ISFj and ENTj?

The ISTp I had the closest contact with used to say "can't you ever relax?"

And the answer is "no", isn't it? ENTjs can't relax, even if some of them think that they can. Typical P critique of J behaviour, that might as well come from an INTp.

Okay, I can accept that as one way of relaxing -- if you do it with the proper attitude, as a kind of meditation or contemplation. Sometimes when I am long distance running I feel like I am going to fall asleep. Does that ever happen to you?

Actually I am going out for a 5 miles nap with an ENFp friend of mine in a moment, so I have to post this right now.

I can't say that I can relax. I'm a very tense person no matter what I try. It is one of the main causes of my periodical insomnia phases. This is also one of the reasons I consider Si one of my weakest functions.

The only ENTj I know is also like this and has suffered insomnia for years. But I really don't think she's a good reference for ENTjs, because she's got some mental problems.

Not being able to relax and/or insomnia has soooooo many exterior, non-function related relations available lol.

Can insomnia be inheritable? I know a family where everyone in three generations has had insomnia for most of their lives.

I suppose that it is possible. It is also possible that it is a side-effect of their SES or a side-effect of something else that is inherited.

I haven't thought of this before and it could be possible, but I can find no other correlating problem between them. Some of them aren't actually related to each other. Grandfather (ESTp)-insomnia, Grandmother (INFj)-no insomnia. Their only son(??)-insomnia, his wife(ENTj)- insomnia, their only son (ESTP)-insomnia. It's the strangest thing. I'm just glad I don't have it, I love to sleep too much
