I think this is a visual equation that you're letting get to your emotions and it's not necessarily a "I have some of this and that; so really where am I?" If you know what I mean. I think, visually, if Gamma replaced the position of Alpha, maybe you wouldn't feel like you're the child in the middle.

I'm constantly looking to align the real with the ideal.I've been more oriented toward being overly idealistic by expecting the real to match the ideal. My thinking side is dominent. The result is that sometimes I can be overly impersonal or self-centered in my approach, not being understanding of others in the process and simply thinking "you should do this" or "everyone should follor this rule"..."regardless of how they feel or where they're coming from"which just isn't a good attitude to have. It is a way, though, to give oneself an artificial sense of self-justification. LSE

Guys, you are referring to communication with other people as "exposure", like you are talking to exposion to alpha, beta and gamma radiation or something. I have great friends and coworkers from all quadras and most types and while with some of them it is a bit strange to communicate sometimes it is not that bad.

All good and true but regardless of type, I think being able to contextualize our own existence is a healthy thing.
But, for a certainty, back then,
We loved so many, yet hated so much,
We hurt others and were hurt ourselves...

Yet even then, we ran like the wind,
    Whilst our laughter echoed,
    Under cerulean skies...

Well it's a valid point, she shouldn't look at socializing as running away from her family, that's overly black and white in my opinion. The point is not to escape bad things; the point is to see as many things as possible.

And it makes me question myself.
It's only wise to question one's self if one is doing something truly questionable. I've talked to you on the phone before. I already know what a compassionate, intelligent young woman you are. You don't really need to question yourself. You're not being Oprah. You're not eating an innocent baby. Deep down at your core, you're a good person- despite your jealousy, your bitchiness.... and it's what inspires me to be around you. I love your light and I love your dark. I know that you probably don't like a lot of that pure good mushy stuff but I don't know what else to say. You have conflicting things inside of you like everybody else, etc.

It kind of irritates me that the people who don't need to question themselves always do and the people who need to spank their inner moppet never do and just say or do whatever it is on top of their head. Then they want all this praise and recognition for how "self-confident" and "compassionate" they are. Yuck and double yuck.

    OPRAH YOU ARE GOING DOWN.
