identical relations within your immediate family

Do any of you have identical types within your immediate family? Or do you know anyone else who has identical types within their immediate family?

My guess is that you don't, which would suggest to me that type is related to nurture rather than nature.

My dad and I are both ESTp.

Do you live with your dad? Has he been a major part of you life?

My sister and my mother are both ISFp from what I can tell. Yes biological mother and we have all lived together.

This is needle in a haystack. In our case, there seems to be a chance of 1/8 that you'll end up being the same type as your parent. But there was a pretty good chance that at least one person is the same type as one of the parents.

Mhhh... 2 parents of different types, 8 children, 16 types altogether. I'm not going to calculate it, but intuitively speaking, even that one child was a chance. One child just happened to be the same type as the parent.
