Who has told you that? Where can I read about it? What would be the explanation of it? (I guess that the statement is probably false.)

IQ are biased for or against specific social groups, so they really only measure people against people who are in the know of the mores, values, knowledge or certain social groups. So, I wouldn't place much emphasis on them.

There's gotta be some function that's related to this! I'm not quite convinced that isfj's the "lucky" type, but it'd be good to hear some suggestions of functions that might be related to this. My suggetsions were Te and Ti...Perhaps Se too...?

That is a false statement, and the fact that you make it indicates that you probably have prejudices againts IQ tests and/or an incorrect understanding of their nature. In general the serious tests can be trusted to give a correct indication of a person's general intelligence.

the question is sooo possible jadae, the answer might not be all that clear.

and subsections still don't make a big difference: we're speaking of tests that give you a lot of data , that require maximum concentration, and don't test your intelligence, neither do they test your knowledge per se - they test, to some extend, your...conformity, i guess....perhaps for lack of a better word?

My friends have taken the GRE. The areas are completely different and each type tests differently in each area =p not only would I guesstimate that different types would test different for each generalized area but I *know* that genders test differently in each generalized area. I remember because my ISTp friend bombed a certain portion of the GRE and did very well on the rest so I looked it up even though I didnt have to GRE. I remember reading some abstract that genders differentiated on the test as well.

I always did really well on standardized tests. If I'm given 4 and I have to choose which is right, I am usually pretty good at eliminating at least a couple and figuring out which is the right one.
