    Default What is Vision?

Is a vision Ne or Ni or Ti?

You know how they say that one is a visionary and so on? I get cautios visionary in those tests.

a vivid mental image; "he had a vision of his own death"
sight: the ability to see; the visual faculty
the perceptual experience of seeing; "the runners emerged from the trees into his clear vision"; "he had a visual sensation of intense light"
imagination: the formation of a mental image of something that is not perceived as real and is not present to the senses; "popular imagination created a world of demons"; "imagination reveals what the world could be"
a religious or mystical experience of a supernatural appearance; "he had a vision of the Virgin Mary"
Well I am back. How's everyone? Don't have as much time now, but glad to see some of the old gang are still here.

That description sounds like a mix of many functions. Generally I'd answer Ni to that question though.

This is Jung's description of Ti: Inner Vision is the MOST important part in it:

For this kind of thinking facts are of secondary importance; what, apparently, is of absolutely paramount importance is the development and presentation of the subjective idea, that primordial symbolical image standing more or less darkly before the inner vision.

He also said "inner vison" was related to Introverted Perception, so I guess Introversion in general, BUT this is different from what you're talking about (mystics?).
