This article makes him sound Ni ego, IMO: https://www.newyorker.com/magazine/2...-cant-save-you. Having hacked "the algorithm" for succeeding in life sounds like an Ni thing--he reasons from first principles what he needs to do to achieve something and then achieves it.



He's very deadpan and doesn't feel the need to smile to put others at ease, so I would've guessed ILI.

However, it's true that his career has a chaotic nature, which is more ILE-like. Comedy writer/stand-up -> actor -> rapper -> showrunner -> director -> ???. They are somewhat related (rapper is the least related thing), but no one else in the world actually excels (not just does) all of these things. This seems more Ne ego, that he's even seriously interested in so many things.

I do also usually feel like I have a good grasp of ILIs, in terms of understanding their motivations and how they work, but I don't feel like I have a good grasp of Donald Glover. So I do like ILE as a typing for him. Anyone else have any thoughts? He's very relevant nowadays!

I am such anti-talent in singing that I can't believe there would be any male ILE doing it, but maybe, why not? And rapping seems to be one of the viable options.
Whenever I am being asked to sing, like school or karaoke party, I am being told to stop just after first two words, or they grab mic out of my hands.

I'm not familiar with the guy but that interview has a lot of great Ne vocab/motivation at the beginning, along with some discomfort with the stereotypical Se rapper lifestyle. Ne leading seems plausible.

ILE and IEE rappers tend to be a lot more prolific in terms of quantity and also somewhat scattered in terms of style. ILI and IEI rappers are more languidly reflective, and tend to have a more consistent voice / message.
