Right... I know an ILI dancer and an IEI engineer. Each field has it's own group of it's 16 presentations I guess. Philosophical outlooks in what sense? Does that extend to let's say topics one supports, or feels towards? For example I know LSIs who differ on their take on reproductive rights. One supports it, one doesn't? ILEs who have different political leanings etc.
Of course, interest levels influence skill, over time. It can be quite noticeable by adulthood.Originally Posted by Ashton
Any group with a large number of members will almost certainly have representatives of every type. What differs is the type of arguments that the individuals will consider relevant when debating the belief - and this will skew the type distribution, since each belief will have better arguments in some areas than others.

@Ashton: Thanks Ashton. That's a great idea and thank you for the link. Ya.. I feel if one takes a subject like... I don't know pollution or something, people in the same type will have different views but they will approach it in a similar way. It's like the destinations are all different, but the road the same. Or the kind of road they take I guess. Does that make sense?
Personally from my encounters with people and types... I find that the type forms the body... the mental body in a sense, but anything can go in it or be put it... or created in. Skills, views, intelligence, creativity etc etc. In an advertising company for example you might come across an SEI, EII, IEI, LII.... and they all are incredibly creative with an amazing portfolio. Of course they approach the method of their work differently, but they are essentially all very good. They might even all be inspired by the same content but approach the content differently too. An ILI dancer I know approaches her form of at very differently from others in her group.
I have seen this much that you do have all 16 types represented in all fields. I know a lot STs and NTs and performance arts and a lot of NFs and SFs in science and business. The IEI engineer is a top engineer in the company.
So things like skills, hobbies, interests etc etc I feel are for all. All 16 can be good at one kind of job. The difference I see in the 16 types is like I said approach and just the reactions and being of that person. The IEI engineer is brilliant at what it does, but it's a very very sensitive person. The ILI dancer can take a few criticisms. I feel the 16 types act like a vessel. But the quality of the vessel differs. IEI vessel maybe more fluid and soft, SLE vessel steal like and hard. Both have the same contents, but it's held up differently because of the quality of the vessel.
I know SLEs who are very spiritual and their IEI counter parts are learning from them! But the WAY this SLE I know approaches it is very different from how an IEI I know approaches it. Even spirituality and mediation has a very sensory feel when it comes to him. You can feel that when he talks about it. But with my IEI... spirituality is very Ni. I see your point on intelligence vs interests. True someone might have great interest but maybe not well developed abilities towards that interest.
