What are your best friends' types?

Friends come and go for me, but the ones I've had something that felt more intense were an ILE, SLI, LSEx2 (not sure if I should include one of them though), and an IEE is close to being a part of the list. In grade school my best friend was an IEI, until he started to suck ass to a douche SLE and felt teamed up against.

No, it wasn't me. It was the person who just went through and "liked" half the posts.

But a lot has happened since 2012. And that includes my gaining a better experience of friendship. So this calls for a new list.

My best ILE friend died in a car accident one icy winter 22 years ago and I still miss her and can't replace her.

My next closest friends are ILE-Ti, LII-Ne, and another alpha NT. But all three live 250-7000 miles away right now.

In HS, my best friend was an ESI. I had two other good friends in HS, an IEI and an ILI. I'm still friends with all of them, but the ESI I consider to be my best friend. I'm fairly close to one of my sisters, an LII. We'd be closer if she answered the phone when I called, rather than only when she feels like answering.
More recently, my friends have been my SLI ex-wife, a second male ESI, an LSE buddy, a couple LIE buddies, an ILI financial advisor and an LSI ex-GF.
At work, I'm closest to a couple of LIE's and two ESI's and an SLI, all males, and a female EII.

Two main best friends growing up: One was a SEI female the other a EIE female. I also easily made pals with ILE & LII males in high school. Hung around many SLE males during the time in my life when I needed them the most but usually its hard to really click with them if I don't need them to cast a tank ability on a weak point. I used to drool more over the SLE bad boy look but it has lessened over the years. Andrew Dice Clay-esque douches don't sent fireworks to my groin like in the past.

More than anything I'm a natural loner. "But Jan, you don't have any friends."

I only feel alive when I'm around myself usually, or I'm completely getting my own way in a social situation and secretly controlling every angle of it. I feel way too vulnerable in situations where the flow is more shared (its too infantile/caregiver ish for me), its so awkward to me even if I like the person. (ppl often think that they're pissing me off or scaring me but really its more like, I am too drained by the equal exchange... this is really common when I'm around too many alphas.) I should just drink more or smoke more pot or something.

Never had many "best friends" outside of my family. I guess my cousin who I have as SEI.

If I had to pick my best friends, from college they were an LII and EIE, both guys. I still talk to them, but don't have an opportunity to hang out anymore.

Best friend of all time is IEI girl, I have known her all my life. It makes sense we are conflictors. We may not always "get" each other, but we have always sort of been together because of circumstance.

I get along fairly well with all types and I find it easier to maintain relationships with people who reach out to me. I can easily "forget" about friends. My IEI friend is always asking me out to places, so it's easy to maintain a friendship with her.

I have a lot of superficial relationships and I enjoy hanging out with them as well.

I tried to be pretty strict and only include the people I know super well and talk deeply with. I have a pretty good relationship with everyone in my family, but I didn't want to make this list crazy gigantic so I only included my ENTp brother, the 3 cousins I have deep relationships with, and my ISTp aunt who I've always confided my deepest feelings in.

The SLI is very orderly and rational but knows when it is time to stop and unwind. Sometimes I think could be LII, but they extend more caretaking tendencies toward me than vice versa.

It's more difficult for me to keep up with extroverts. I often feel sort of star-struck by EIE artists, but they are difficult to know.

I don't have any friends. The closest thing to a "friend" meaning a guy with whom I went out and had fun, debated, talked about things... I think was ESFp.

There was also a guy from school I talked with and usually we would be together most of the times in class and recess, I think he is an introvert.

My friendship that feels the most secure is with an SEI. We weren't close for a long time but we made an effort to keep in touch. I think we know we can depend on each other for support and have enough in common to enjoy each other's company. My other long term friend is ILI. We used to get on really well but it's a bit harder to trust her than it is the SEI. I have a good SEE friend who I went to uni with but she now lives on the other side of the world. We talk on the phone, also not sure how much I completely trust her. I used to have IEE, SLI and EII mates but had to cut them off (or they me). Now I have nice work IEE, EII friends. The EII is really chill and and the IEE is lovely but I worry that she thinks I'm not supportive enough. We get on decently but I think our friendship works best if we keep a nice balance of work talk, chit chat and being supportive but not over-doing it so that misunderstandings develop.

I also have a good IEE friend who I like to party with but I think we need to talk a bit less as it's getting to that tricky point of the contrary friendship. He's a fun guy though and gets on with my sister too so it's nice to hang out all together. I have an SLE friend who lives in Europe who I keep in touch with. She's cool of course. I have a SEI friend at work who I was in love with and trying to work out if I can be friends with him again. I have an old EIE mate who was my best friend in school. I'd like to see her more (it can be really to fun to hang out with groups with a few betas). I think it might be a bit sad to be too close because my life turned out badly and hers not. But hey things are getting better and we have that childhood bond so maybe it would be ok. Also, EIE are dreamy

Oh also an ILI and ILE boys from partying I think I'll keep in touch with.

Have an IEI friend too but she also lives abroad atm and we were only friends for a year. Still in touch a bit.

Most of my friendships have been good friends, not necessarily ppl I might consider best friends…except for maybe one childhood best friend and I’m leaning towards EII-Ne for her rn. I feel like I might not get as close or attached to friends relative to others - I don’t know for sure but - the avoidant pole of attachment shows up in my friendships. I have shared my trauma and deepest, darkest…anything and then been able to leave friendships and not be, ultimately, all that emotionally fazed by it. I may miss some more than others though… but yeah. And hardly ever is it a final goodbye anyway, even if it ends up being that way eventually, idk.

Thinking about it, I think the three persons I was closest too were all ESE. If I add a fourth, yeah, another ESE. Fifth would be Ne lead. Then peeps I cannot type.
I had a couple Se friends but it didn't last, I liked them but they were kind of mean and immature. I still think fondly of them tho. I shouldn't for the most part, some were assholes, but I do.
I grew close to a few EIE, but it was short lived and exploded rather fast.
LSE tend to dislike me, it's like the way I breath bothers them or something. I just say a few words and they skrink away.
