    Default Where are the ENTps?

I know that a lot of people still think I'm an ENTp... even though I'm CLEARLY ISTj... A lot of people still think Peter is ENTp... I live with him, and... well... uh... let's just get on with the thread... Gilligan may be ENTp. Blaze thought she was ENTp, but now is wondering if she isn't. mcnew isn't ENTp either. So who are the ENTps?

The list of ENTps, according to Joy:

    Polly.

    Possible ENTps:

    Gilligan
    Blaze
    Waddlesworth

I'm sure we've had at least one conversation in which I declared myself to be an intuitive-logical extravert.
That faith makes blessed under certain circumstances, that blessedness does not make of a fixed idea a true idea, that faith moves no mountains but puts mountains where there are none: a quick walk through a madhouse enlightens one sufficiently about this. (A casual stroll through the lunatic asylum shows that faith does not prove anything.) - Friedrich Nietzsche

Due to my obvious ISTjness, I am unwilling to add myself to my own list of ENTps. Everyone is, of course, welcome to create their own lists to their pleasing.

However, I will say that my relationship with my boyfriend is far too good for me to be an ENTp.

    Not really.

What other type might I be?
But, for a certainty, back then,
We loved so many, yet hated so much,
We hurt others and were hurt ourselves...

Yet even then, we ran like the wind,
    Whilst our laughter echoed,
    Under cerulean skies...

You have to move me back. I'm entp. It was just a frivolous thought.

Why do I always like Betas then? I hardly know any Alphas.

Well, I think it makes sense for Alphas to get along well with Beta NFs because, for example, for ENTp, would be your "activation" function. And the "illusionary" relation is close to being a dual.

I do, with occasional intermittent doubts that I may be a Beta NF. But they tend to go away when I realize what a cockwad I'm being.

I am definitely. For example I'm reading physicist Brian Greene's books, The Elegant Universe and Fabric of the Cosmos. The books give a complete background of relativity, quantum mechanics, and string theory. I'm really amazed by the insight Greene gives into Space and Time and their relation.

BTW if anyone is interested in that kind of stuff I'd highly recommend the books. They're written in non scientific language and provide really colloquial, intuitive, easy- to relate to examples and images (no equations or complex math).

I especially love when I learn of new ways of looking at things, whether it be through sci & tech, or interpersonal relations, or whatever.

I dunno. None really. I think it's just when the emotional, controlling side of us comes out, which tends to happen under stress.

How do I diss them for showing emotions? I think they show more Fe than they think they do; it has nothing to do with emotionality, and I certainly don't diss them for it.
