Couldn't this also possibly be dual-seeking, though? I'm mostly looking for insight and other perspectives to assimilate into my model.

I need to mull my type over because if I've mistyped myself then I feel like I don't fully understand myself.

It's hard for me to determine my confidence level with , which is why I'm stuck between LII and SEI. I'm probably not IEI because I don't feel like my base function is at all by the Socionics definitions; too vague and related to time-sense.
It's not that you don't fully understand yourself, it's that you don't fully understand this structure. http://sociotype.com/tests/ is a great test if you don't mind the sliding scales.
I have a strong inclination that your not Lii, but i could be wrong as well, i just think an Lii would have an absolute understanding of their confidence in Ti. The base function is something that you can be criticized in, and it won't really matter, because the base function is the one your the most self-assured about. From the little i know, you seem like a Ip tempermant.

Read up on Decisive/Judicious. You appear "decisive" but both LII and SEI are Judicious. That alone can help you rule out Alphah quadra or IEI.

I wouldnt take the Reinin dichotomies seriously enough to use in typing people.

On your "MBTI INFJ, Socionics WTF?" thread you said this "Most of the time, however, I tend to adopt points of view that I hear/read about and agree with instead of coming up with my own."

Thats more Beta than Alphah in of itself. Almost word for word.

"when I get really into researching something or talking to somebody in depth, I can go without eating or sleeping for a long time and not really realize it."

"I get incredibly bored with repetitive activities"

    Both seem like Si-role.

"I tend to be able to see the big picture easily. For example, I dislike people eating junk primarily because it tears up their body, but I also am unnerved by how the food system as a whole is negatively affecting the environment, the health care system, the energy crisis, animal rights, etc. I see how the issues with the food system lie at the crux of many other issues, and how things need to change for everyone's sake"

This i feel is indicative of just an N ego in general. Ni or Ne can do this, i find it rare for S's to think along these lines.

I think Tejing's analysis was spot on in that thread also. Even though i don't agree fully, he argues a great case for IP temperment.

to each there own. I find it useful as i can store that type of information(i relate it to NE being my ignoring) when its laid out on paper.

Judicious / Decisive, Aristocratic / Democratic, and Evolutionary(sp?)/Involutionary are the three that i take the most seriously. I've found it to be quite accurate when asking my friends/family and cross referencing it to how they tested. It normally can help you find the right quadra, at least in my experience.

I hate it when people tell me I don't understand something that I know I do; really riles me up.

Also, I relate more to Judicious than decisive, though I relate to some aspects of both. I have a hard time getting motivated to act, spend a lot of time preparing to act, tend to get distracted/take long breaks when I'm working on something, but tend to feel more satisfied when I've completed something worthwhile and can start on something else. I hate being rushed through or pushed into things. Also, when I was in college, I usually procrastinated on my work by cleaning my workspace or napping before starting.

As far as Aristocratic/Democratic, I try to understand people as best as I can on a case-by-case basis. Even when it comes to personality typology, I recognize the variants within a particular type and try not to generalize. I typically define myself by qualities such as my skills, talents, interests, goals, hobbies, etc., and not by groups I associate with. In high school, I had a definite group of friends that I associated with the most, but I also got along with people from other groups regardless of their social status.

Evolutory/Involutionary is tough for me to determine. I would guess that I'm more of an Evolutory(Process?) type. I like to complete one thing before starting another, be it a book, game, movie, etc. I can multitask but I don't do well with it. I get annoyed sometimes when my boyfriend sends me tons of YouTube videos to watch when we chat on AIM because he'll send me more videos while I'm still watching the previous one he sent.

I am so confused now haha.

Firstly, i think Aristocratic is more about your own classifications, rather than social status and external labels.(Jocks, Nerds, etc...)
    But to brass tax-
    Evolutory is xSxP and xNxJ
    Democratic is xSFx and xNTx
    Judicious is Ne-Si valuing.

Together all those point to Alpha, and considering that you favor Ti/Fe(Merry) i'd have to say alpha makes sense in theory.

So it kinda comes down to Intj/Isfp.

Out of every type, SEI's have the lowest threshold for conflict and are among the most likely to excel in photography and the arts.
Orignally i thought IEI, but SEI makes good sense with everything thats been said.

I, myself, am IEI so i am Decisive, Aristocratic, and Involutionary. We're different on all three even though we're only one letter apart! Heh, i just find that interesting.

Also, get your boyfriend to take the sociotype test or an equally as valid test. Most of the time, people switch in the cross over. So if your thinking that duality isnt what your relationship seems like, than maybe he's something different than what you think.
