    EIE-Ni 7w6 sx/sp is an easy call.

    Added: https://www.pinterest.com/socionics/eie-ni/
    Added: https://stackemup.livejournal.com/3557.html

FeNi embodies and translates the feelings of others/groups/cultures/generations with intensity, passion and a prophetic touch...a mass seducer.

Notable examples: Elvis Presley, Gia Carangi, 2pac, Robert Downey Jr., David Bowie, Anne Sexton

Mercury fits the bill by miles.

    yes, EIE Creative subtype
The decisive thing is not the reality of the object, but the reality of the subjective factor, i.e. the primordial images, which in their totality represent a psychic mirror-world. It is a mirror, however, with the peculiar capacity of representing the present contents of consciousness not in their known and customary form but in a certain sense sub specie aeternitatis, somewhat as a million-year old consciousness might see them.

I saw the movie too, then last week I saw a documentary on the making of News of the World. Now I'm not so sure of EIE anymore. Somewhere I have this feeling of a very gay, histrionic, IEE. In the documetary, the band comes off as a lot more serious and driven bunch.

I consider him an EIE prototype. His flamboyant public persona was counterbalanced by a great deal of self-consciousness and a kind of discomfort. He was clever and witty, but not to be cruel—it was a form of self-defense for him. He embodied the blending of high and low culture. Love him.

    Dual type (as per tcaudilllg)
    Enneagram 5 (wings either 4 or 6)?

I'm constantly looking to align the real with the ideal.I've been more oriented toward being overly idealistic by expecting the real to match the ideal. My thinking side is dominent. The result is that sometimes I can be overly impersonal or self-centered in my approach, not being understanding of others in the process and simply thinking "you should do this" or "everyone should follor this rule"..."regardless of how they feel or where they're coming from"which just isn't a good attitude to have. It is a way, though, to give oneself an artificial sense of self-justification. LSE

Do you people even bother to listen to the words that come out of people’s mouth before you type?

As far as I recall, he had his coming out after he died, but as I'm getting old I might have mixed up some things.
