    Ramachandran may also be ESTp
    Cues:
In an interview, 'A brief tour of consciousness', he identifies himself with Thomas Huxley, saying that he too is 'very pugnacious'
If he hadn't become a scientist, he would have liked to have been an explorer (Wallace is his number 2 scientist he'd like to have met, behind Huxley)
He also seems to identify a lot with Galileo's approach of trying/testing things out (Se ego?)
He's very physically demonstrative in the way he talks
In his words, to be a good scientist you have to be 'obsessive and passionate, but detached and playful at the same time'

hmm indeed, i've been considering ESTj too...according to JohnDo's VI system, if he were ESTj, he'd be Se-ESTj as he has a rectangular face.

as an INFj, what makes you think he's ESTj and not ESTp?

i have noticed that there are more than a few ESTj's in medicine (physicians, researchers). they seem to do quite well in the field.
