definitely go get checked out, because some things can masquerade as "flu-like"

p.s. some of my favorite cold/flu remedies: ginger tea, raw garlic (with food), ramen noodle soup supplemented with spices such as cayenne pepper, black pepper, curry powder, etc etc, and of course the well known favorite--lots of vitamin C.
