Weaker region does not mean you can't be good there. It's harder and so happens more rarely.
The higher than average is IQ, - the better results than average in weaker regions may to be. Also more efforts, better education, support of other people, etc non types factors may help for better results. To have N type helps in engineering tasks.
And... he had abnormal psyche. Such people may get enforced some abbilities above average, not only to get loses.
