Our types show very much however, we appreciate each others way we look at the world because it is so opposite and new to each of us. He is definitely the most docile, gentle and soothing person I know. So as far as violence goes, after a year we have NEVER had anything close to physical altercation. A far as insecurities go.... we are 21 and 25, it's time to let insecurities go and we know this.

Supervision relationships aren't terrible, my parents are in a supervision relationship(based on one socionics study, it was one of the top 5 for marriage). Good people will be good people and can have decent if not perfect relationship.

However, it's not ideal, and there will be many communication differences and problems that can occur in life.

This is an unequal relationship where generally the supervisee will need to be accommodating to the supervisor or major conflict will occur.

I have a question are you older or younger than your partner?

Also in socionics world you would be "super-ego" hurt... ^_^ The LII's Base function is which is a area of pain for the IEE. Good luck with your relationship, my parents have been together for 40+ years and although it's not perfect for them, they still find time to be good to each other.

I am younger than my partner (im the IEE) by four years... I'm not sure if this helps or hurts but i'm guessing it helps I look to him as a mentor

LIIs can make good friends and mentors for an IEE. Difficult at times but totally worth it. I know because my dad is one and we get along pretty well.

You know what? You're an individual, and that makes people nervous. And it's gonna keep making people nervous for the rest of your life.

It's fixed, but only out of love for duals.

IEE LII supervision is not bad given the right subtypes it can be actually quite positive. Plus Gulenko talks about conflict even not being conflict given compatible subtypes and also duality is not good in every circumstance since some subtypes are worse than conflict/just as bad.

Supervision is horrible when perception doesn't match, so IEE ESI, is not great compared to IEE LII yet even with that some subtypes are more compatible.
