Default Mind expanding media (games, tv shows, books, movies)

Please include an excerpt that exhibits the potential for expansion in your post.

    Xenogears

Xenogears was inspired by Neon Genesis Evangelion, however Xenogears is more refined than Evangeleon in terms of message and discourse. Evangelion offers philosophical premises that may or may not be true, while Xenogears aims specifically for a balanced (and perhaps more relevant) accounting.

How will mindless conflict expand the mind? Besides, why the hell are the power rangers taking on Freddy?
