The first one is kinda depressing to me and would easily bring me to tears if I were listening to it while walking, that's probably when I would listen to the first one the most; I like to match what I listen to, depending on it's temp to the pace of the activity (I don't know why Te-DS? to stay organized or Ti-Role categorizing matching)

I'm constantly looking to align the real with the ideal.I've been more oriented toward being overly idealistic by expecting the real to match the ideal. My thinking side is dominent. The result is that sometimes I can be overly impersonal or self-centered in my approach, not being understanding of others in the process and simply thinking "you should do this" or "everyone should follor this rule"..."regardless of how they feel or where they're coming from"which just isn't a good attitude to have. It is a way, though, to give oneself an artificial sense of self-justification. LSE

Dennis DeYoung is almost certainly Beta ST

Did you ever see the Styx "Behind the Music" on VH1 a number of years ago? I'm sure it's on youtube somwhere.

Edit: I guess I might see some argument for ESTj, I might have to think about it some more

I based my initial "certain" typing on what I remembered from Behind the Music, but after watching it again, I think I feel relatively comfortable saying ESTj is pretty clearly > Beta ST for DeYoung

Interesting... would you also type the music and lyrics as ESTj? DeYoung did write a lot of it.
