Damn. I'm guessing if there were ever a Socionics Royal Rumble, EIE would be an awesome team.

It's the only SG film I am yet to see, and I actually own it too.

    That's getting watched this week.

Winry (blond mechanic chick) from Fullmetal Alchemist. The main guy Ed (with blond long hair) is definitely ISTj, especially with the serious-sounding Japanese voice-actor! They're really cure together.

lolllllzzzz I found this, it's amazingly beta and it's quite similar to how they often interact in the anime as well:
    http://youtube.com/watch?v=kNa62Cp67pw

(I'm actually really really happy at the moment! I found out there's a movie that comes after the series and explains what happens next!!! YAY! The series left me feeling like it didn't end properly and I was not pleased. But the story continues!!! )

    PISS FUCK

We were just having a conversation on webcam about how I could be EIE and I totally thought Howl was EIE too and I completely identified with him in every fucking way when I saw that movie.

Having read Thus Spake Zarathustra, his writing always comes off more as poetry than philosophical discourse - definitely ethical.

Most of these seem legit, but I have to disagree on lennon, who is clearly some alpha irrational, and ben affleck, who has always seemed more Si overall to me, and probably introverted.

I thought Michael Jackson was IEI.

and yeah your dad might listen to him, even if they are conflictors, because political beliefs can supercede type. Intertype relations only really get heavy when you're psychologically close to the person. I mean, I have "friends" (not close ones) who are ESTj. We share similar values, interests, or whatever. But I would never try to get closer than we are.

I'd like to hear JuJu's reasoning for him being ENFj though.

An EIE's description is probably superior to other type excepts iei's at helping me find sle's. except maybe sle's. or lsi's. meh dunno. IM TRYING TO GET SOME USE OUT OF THIS UNSUABLE SHITT. Re: John Lennon

My absolute favorite musician... After watching a lot of interviews--there are a bunch on youtube, if anyone's interested--reading his lyrics, reading "John Lennon: The Life" by P. Norman, and Lennon's own book, "In His Own Write..." There's nothing anyone here could write to convince me he's A) Logical rather than ethical, B) Si valuing as opposed to Se, and that C) he has an irrational temperament.

A non-beta typing for him is one that just isn't well-informed.

E.g. Lennon's wives were both beta. His "soulmate," Yoko Ono, is ISTj... His best friends were beta musicians David Bowie, Mick Jagger, George Harrison, Elton John... Frankly, the only other type I could see for Lennon is not ENTp, but ENTj--and that's only b/c of his (mirage) partnership w/ISFj Paul McCartney... Anyone interested in this typing, who currently holds a different opinion, I could point you to specific things if you want.

re: Rush Limbaugh (AA, I don't have you on ignore.)

I saw a particularly revealing and candid interview with him this Sunday on Fox Weekend w/ Chris Wallace... (I also once thought that he was probably ESFj... He's certainly Fe x10.) Alpha Fe is usually tempered by (what I as a beta perceive as) zaniness/levity, and in my view, 'softness.' Limbaugh, on the other hand--even his voice--has that characteristically beta drama and seriousness. His warnings--his entire rado show, if you've listened to it, is full of them--are couched in Ni historical perspective/predictions or the future.

Listen to him talk about traditionally ENFj concerns--the need to feel loved, why he became addicted to drugs, and the desire for wealth:

pt 2/3 of his interview w/ Chis Wallace... 5:03-end (I can't link to it for some reason but check it out on youtube if you're interested.)

jughead, I'll do SLE tomorrow and write up some subtype descriptions.

Affleck is ESE, IMO, although I can see why one might think EIE. Rush Limbaugh is a ****** so I'd rather not think about his type. MJ is more likely IEI-Fe 4w3 so/sx. Bill Clinton could be ESE.

+1 for Lennon as EIE, but man, just listen to the music; McCartney was as Alpha as they come, probably SEI. You're gonna tell me that an ESI wrote "Yellow Submarine?"

I have listened to Rush Limbaugh alot (I used to be extremely conservative). I always found his voice soothing, i still feel he is witty, or at least comes across as humorous. I definitely def def def def get activator vibes from him. Listening to him gets me pumped (ugh still) and sets the gears in my head turning.

His historical take seems far more Si fact-historical-"this is what we know"-evidence-real life examples, mixed with Fe epic-grandiose-charged-expressive-theatricalness.

Rush does not come off as symbolic, abstract, enigmatically metaphoric, etc. He talks about what is happening, who are the characters, what are their roles, what is evil, what is right, what is true, what is this situation like ("this is like in 1982 when... It's the same thing, folks!"). He seems unable to escape a context that is grounded, sensible (can be sensed), "factual"

    eh w/e lol.

    Barack Obama.

Funnily enough Bill Clinton when President met the then Prime Minister of Australia, Paul Keating (SLE) at an APEC conference and later when walking past Paul talking to a few other national leaders patted him on the back and said "I love this guy!" Beta chums.

that's interesting.... I can see Obama as an EIE for sure, but are you saying that Clinton is too? I don't see that with him, I see him as a feeling type but not sure other than that.

I came by a photo of Bill Clinton a while ago, but can't find it now after browsing. It was a photo of him at a conference sitting at a desk with his eyes not particularly set on anything. A type of stare typical of EIEs when their mind is elsewhere. He wasn't aware someone was taking a photo of him which makes the photo quite revealing for socionics typing - but it made me sure that he was indeed an EIE. If I come by it again, I'll post it up.

I would totally buy EIE for Bill. Obviously a feeling extrovert, my guess is Fe > Fi. Probably intuitive, but I wouldn't bet on it. Ni or Ne is a hard choice, but I would guess Ni, which would make him ENFj. ESFj and ESFp are also possibilities I think. ESFj moreso than ESFp, as I don't get an Se vibe from Bill at all. (I do get a Te vibe from Hilary though).
Not a rule, just a trend.

IEI. Probably Fe subtype. Pretty sure I'm E4, sexual instinctual type, fairly confident that I'm a 3 wing now, so: IEI-Fe E4w3 sx/so. Considering 3w4 now, but pretty sure that 4 fits the best.

    Yes 'a ma'am that's pretty music...

I think ENFjs have a greater thirst for politics and political power than ESFjs too. Perhaps it's related to valuing.

GREAT calls... (It's weird--watching her in movies, I would've thought Charlize T. was a beta ST, but I just watched a couple of interviews and you're absolutely right: EIE.)

I need to watch a few more Bon Jovi interviews before I can say for sure whether he's EIE... In the one interview I watched, I thought maybe SEE, maybe EIE... (You're probably right though. You're very good at this.)

    Thank you
I saw an interview she did with the BBC a few months ago which I felt revealed her type, calm but with a proactive energy and passion, revealing her passion for improving the conditions of South Africans (her people) to pave the way for a better future, very Fe+Ni

john lennon i think is ENTp. Although I can vaguely see some ENFj. Here is an interview: [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gfCBFhB_RQs"]YouTube- John Lennon and Yoko Ono Dick Cavett Show Excerpt 1[/ame]
This one actually sort of seems ENFjish..

That's a possibility, I never saw him as EIE, or Robert Downey Jr. for that matter. I think Lennon is either ENTp or ENTj; Downey I think is ENTj.

I see Clinton as IEE for sure. Political correctness and all.

I'm constantly looking to align the real with the ideal.I've been more oriented toward being overly idealistic by expecting the real to match the ideal. My thinking side is dominent. The result is that sometimes I can be overly impersonal or self-centered in my approach, not being understanding of others in the process and simply thinking "you should do this" or "everyone should follor this rule"..."regardless of how they feel or where they're coming from"which just isn't a good attitude to have. It is a way, though, to give oneself an artificial sense of self-justification. LSE

No, he seems to relate to his surroundings a bit too much, an ENFj comes off a bit aloof I've found.
