I have just started looking at intertype relations and things don't seem to match up. Is there any tell tale signs, or traits that can easily seperate them? (Or maybe tell if they are not either?)

It's easier for me to tell with women than the men. ESTP males are very "tough" while the ESFPs are more people persons it seems.
estp.......have more dry expression, sarcastic attitude
esfp.....have a lot of positive expressions. they are big socializers. they definately dress to impress. more worried about appearance than estp
oh yeah.....and estp's have more of a fighting, competitive spirit about them characteristic of Beta Quadra.
esfp....lovers not fighters
oh yes and ESFPs tend to wear brighter colors and are really emotional over small things. If you confront an ESTP with his emotions he will deny they exist generally (like if he cries during a movie) if you confront an ESFP with their emotion (an they don't want you to) they use it like a blunt object (or so it seems to me) a kind of "Yeah I like him/her/that so what?" like it's just something that is intrinsic to reality rather than something that others should take notice of.
