    ISTP I would say.
Well I am back. How's everyone? Don't have as much time now, but glad to see some of the old gang are still here.

that is what i was getting at. if there is an inescapable appropriation that is required in the act of understanding, this brings into question the validity of socionics in describing what is real, and hence stubborn contradictions that continue to plague me.

    My initial reaction was ESTj.
But, for a certainty, back then,
We loved so many, yet hated so much,
We hurt others and were hurt ourselves...

Yet even then, we ran like the wind,
    Whilst our laughter echoed,
    Under cerulean skies...

    I've considered ESFj before. Nope.

They're okay in small doses. I can't live with them because there are endless heated power struggles. I feel like they don't "get" me, and I am unimpressed by the things that they take pride in.

This demostrate you total inability to VI anything. If there's anything we can be absolutely sure about this guy, is introversion.

I've been thinking about this guy recently and ran into him like a month ago and wondering if he could be INFj instead of ISFj. Any thoughts?

Here's a pic of him from when I ran into him:

His eyes and expression remind me of Fred a little in this one...

The thing is though, he reminds me A LOT of Peter. His attitude, tones, the things he says... but mostly just the sounds he makes when he's just casually joking around (even the timing)... they're almost identical.

The differences are that Mike's "softer" and more laid back. Peter has a sort of harshness about him that Mike doesn't.

I don't know if they're the same type... they may just be similar types or they may be the same type with different subtypes
