Default Recommendations of ESFj musical artists

Can you recommend any? The only one I know of is Paul McCartney. Seems like there are a ton of SEI ones though.

Whigfield is the main one I can think of right now (and with Paul, I had been persuaded that he is a SEI too ).

The usual typing for Paul is SEI, but now that you mention it, ESE does indeed sound more accurate. He's a bit reclusive for an ESE, but he's ridiculously EJ - probably Si-subtype.

Hmmm... Beyonce's type is often debated between ESI and ESE. Most crappy eurobeat is also ESE (Dave Rodgers, NIKO, D. Essex, Hinoi Team, anything that was ever played on Initial D). For music that isn't trash, The Specials are some kind of Alpha SF, I lean ESE.
    2-subtype system: IEI-Fe
    8-subtype system: D-IEI-Fe
    16-subtype system: IEI-ESE

    IEI-Fe 2w3 > p6w5 > 8w7 sx/so

    Ooh ooh.

Armin van Buuren! Oliver Smith OTOH is SEI I'm thinking.

Armin van Buuren is a very good pick. For ESEness, I mean... his music is kind of poo...

    Sounds good to me.

AvB totally seems like an ESE, yeah.

I was going to say Jeff Lynne of ELO, but he's probably SEI.

I don't know, but I really relate a lot to Kelly Clarkson and Beyonce music. . .

Does anybody know if Kelly Clarkson is ESFj? I'd kinda like to know as most of her music [as I said] I relate to.

    Food for thought.

I'd put my money on Clarkson being ESE but I get the vibe that Beyonce is SEE, not entirely sure though

I think Shania Twain and Cheryl Cole might be ESE too, but again, I'm not sure

I'm not familiar with Cole, but Clarkson and Twain intuitively seem like they could be ESE, to me.

I actually think Shania Twain is either LII or LSI - anyone have thoughts on that? Beyonce is probably ESI. I'll have to check out Kelly Clarkson.

btw I think mc chris is a good bet. I find his music highly addictive...

    Bump.

Any other ideas? Preferably looking for well-known and contemporary artists. Post interviews, not songs please.

edit: going to investigate some people in this thread.

MC Chris is known for aggressive outbursts and harsh treatment of fans, so almost definitely not ESE.

When it comes to creating art, from a Model A perspective it seems that the temporal/auditory arts (movies and music) involve more Ni, and spatial/visual arts involve somewhat more sensing (Beta NFs are definitely attracted to fashion, but it seems more due to the Se). In Model A2 though, the lack of ESE songwriters may be due to the relatively less importance placed on -Fe.

Jennifer Lopez and Beyoncé seem very Se to me. I think Lopez is SEE and Beyoncé is EIE. Both of them have a confidence in their choreography and physical environment that seem more Se than Si. Lopez wants to draw more attention to her physical appearance and how she moves than her emotions which is why I think she is an Se type. Also with Lopez she sings about emotions but they aren't really "bubbling over" like with and Fe Dom. Beyoncé I think is EIE because her emotions seems so dominant and expressed...if she was Fi they would be more concealed.
People usually type Beyonce as Gamma SF, there is a thread about her. Anyways I don't think anyone really thinks she is ESE.

Jessica Simpson is the only one who strikes me as a possible ESE and I think she might be EIE....pretty sure she exudes Fe. Her language, hand movements, facial expression exude her emotions..it's very dominant. Her husband seems like and ISTj and she seems much happier in this relationship he is probably her dual of semi-dual depending on what type of Fe leading she is.

here are a couple interviews(in the last one she is bubbling over in Fe excitement, she can't really contain her emotions)

I think you're right about Jessica Simpson. EIE seems much less likely, she seems really laidback.

While we're on 90s pop stars, I also think Mandy Moore is ESE:

I first got tipped off when she was in some movie with Robin Williams way back.

New challenge: ESEs that write their own music
