    When talking about things like the environment the INTps I know seem downright passionate about it. The Si types I know can appreciate nature but INTps seem to take it to another level (at least in my experience).

    I think what she might be talking about is being able to "read" nature. For an example being able to tell if a storm is coming just by... the colors in the sky. In this case I would agree that it is .

    I think ESTjs get a little restless if they don't get outside enough, even if they're remaining active indoors.

    I think some of it is cultural too. I know I was taught a healthy respect for nature and being half native, that kind of respect for nature is expected within our society.

    There is this one guy here in Canada who is native who just got charged with illegally trafficking eagle parts. Its made national news but even more than that you can see when they interview him that socially within his own culture he is now destroyed. He will be ostracized from the entire native community...and not just his local one. We are talking coast to coast here.

    What exactly is "being one with nature?"

    If you are talking about what I think you are talking about, then feeling a connection with nature can be an emphasis on any "function."
