Default OMG I had to use the snowblower

My husband is out of town and we had enough snow that I had to clear it. So I called my husband to figure out how to turn the stupid snowblower on, and then it got really loud and I couldn't hear him tell me how to run it once it was on and I figured i'd just wing it. But I didn't get much done and it ran out of gas or something. I was very cold as I couldn't find my hat and my gloves aren't made for that kind of thing. It is my new least favorite thing in the world to do. I prefer changing poopy diapers. I will gladly change a thousand poopy diapers before doing that again.

He's sending his friend (LSE) over to finish the driveway and sidewalk today.

This should probably be in anything goes but all people involved are Delta so I put it here.

Also, fittingly perhaps, a time to be obnoxious about implying what delta NFs should be doing on days like today..

I have an electric oven so that wouldn't be a very effective way to gas myself.

Anyway, he came and cleared the drive and sidewalk, but didn't seem overjoyed by having to do it. He wasn't cranky, just very matter of fact. I think my husband owes him a favor. But it's done!

That's the spirit, just give that kind of stuff to Delta STs, they gotta be good for somethin'. "Hey honey, I think I done hurt meself trying fixing the sink ..." *show some unrelated scratch that caused blood* "Alright, let me do it". Pretty easy.

In my mind, the scenario is more like, delta NF goes "OW!" <look at booboo> Delta ST comes over, says "I'll do it" or "let me do it" (without the "all right" which makes it sound like reluctance). Delta NF says "no no, I can do it!" Delta ST is like "um, ok..." Then delta NF goes "OW!!" again. At that point Delta ST takes the tool and is like "you do it like this".

    Yeahhh.............

Particularly with IEEs who seem more 'stubborn' in that regard.
