    Default Quadra Values Test

Please try my test and offer good feedback I've drawn mostly from the Wikisocion Quadra descriptions, so hopefully those are accurate enough...

Note: You are welcome to skip questions if neither option applies to you, or if you cannot choose between the two; but, please do so sparingly as there are not very many questions to begin with. A skipped question nets zero points for the expressed quadra values in that question.

    1. Are you more inclined to make evaluations by…
    A. Defining accepted rules and trends that can be applied generally
    a. (Somewhat A)
    b. (Somewhat B)
    B. Considering the rationale behind each new thing on a case-by-case basis

    2. Are you more inclined to discuss ideas and theoretical concepts…
    A. For fun and intellectual stimulation
    a. (Somewhat A)
    b. (Somewhat B)
    B. For their practical merit and application

    3. Do you tend to…
    A. Speak and write with a lot of dramatic, and poetic, expression
    a. (Somewhat A)
    b. (Somewhat B)

    A. A competitive situation or activity where analytical tactics are emphasized
    a. (Somewhat A)

    5. Do you tend to favor…
    A. Consistency of beliefs and ideas and finding common threads
    a. (Somewhat A)
    b. (Somewhat B)
    B. Efficiency when working to meet future goals

    A. Feel energized in the positive atmosphere of special events
    a. (Somewhat A)
    b. (Somewhat B)
    B. Have difficulty relating to emotional atmospheres connected to special events

    7. Are you more deeply concerned with…

    a. (Somewhat A)
    b. (Somewhat B)
    B. Performing a common productive activity or discussing a serious topic

    10. Are you more inclined to…
    A. Make a short-term investment with a reliable outcome requiring minimal involvement
    a. (Somewhat A)
    b. (Somewhat B)

This test says I've got Delta leanings...

    (I used 0.5 - 0.5 for those I really, really couldn't answer either way.)

    SiTe 3.5
    NeTi 0.5
    NiTe 2.5
    NeFi 2
    SeTi 0.5
    SeFi 4
    NiFe 1

    Alpha: 0.5
    Beta: 1.5
    Gamma: 6.5
    Delta: 5.5

I don't really like this test to be honest, in many questions I was tempted to answer "neither, there's a third option you know", not to mention some screaming to be misinterpreted (like "productive activity" doesn't need to be "work", but it seems to imply it). Though that's at least in part a general problem with trying to convey a value in a single sentence taken out of context.

(Although there's probably something to the fact that SiFe didn't make it to the list.)

I suppose it might be good to offer a "neither" option, which would result in no points being allotted for the skipped question...Going to edit the OP right now...

There's something a little wonky in the set-up/format and, thus, scoring; but (not being much a math/stats guy) I can't quite put my finger on it.

Regardless, this could prove really insightful/useful/fun, pianosinger.

A test based on valued IM blockings is a cool idea, and this would be really good with original descriptions. Unfortunately, the WikiSocion descriptions kind of suck. I tried to answer the questions leaving aside my knowledge of socionics, and there were a lot of questions where I related to both or neither -- I ended up choosing "somewhat x" for all of them. So I ended up with 2 points for each blocking except for Beta NF and Delta ST, where I got 1 point each.

    Huh. Delta irrational.

I mean it makes sense: this test
    Personal feelings over group feelings
Don't care that much about emotional exchange even though I am sometimes emotional myself
I'm not tough or a hard worker, I'd rather be relaxed and not a hard-ass
I like thoughtful and easygoing dynamics
I like for things to be efficient and make sense
If I involve myself socially I might be goofy and friendly, not pushing for an over-serious productive dynamic
The vs one I didn't really understand... why are ILIs none of these things above if my is at 2?? ^

Does this test...how does one say...have a limited knowledge of each type? Or am I'm both and dominant?

It seems to work for the rational functions though. Could enlighten me on a bit more.

I'm hoping someone will respond to my questions about this test.

I scored highest in Gamma, following by Delta. Alpha and Beta do not exist for me. Weird test.

Cool idea for a test. It would be interesting to see it set up with more questions that assess differences between neighboring quadras, rather than just differences between opposing quadras.

We could also try to create the "quadra de-values" reverse questions?

    I voted this:
    B. Have difficulty relating to emotional atmospheres connected to special events

and got gamma SF points. That doesn't seem quite right.

I used to have a sig with a text along the lines of "the eradication of Gammas and Betas is an agenda engraved on the soul of all righteous beings" or some such thing. He wrote that.

Yes, the first mentor of Obersturmführer. The one training young Obersturmführer McVeigh, plotting the extermination of both Beta and Gamma quadra.

Well, this way I will remember them forever, it's easier and I get to call a horse a horse. One can say that they have a very special place in my heart, full of love and compassion.

    Thanks, anyway.

    YES.

Cuz a lot of times it's just easier to figure out what you hate. Or what you're bad at. Or what just drives you crazy or bores you to tears.
