    Default Impossible Types

Has anyone tried to visualize what someone would be like if their functions were arranged in a way that doesn't follow the model A (provided they could still function). For example... would find meaning in peoples emotions :-). I guess thats sorta what a dual pair does though.

There are certain neurological disorders that do render people emotionless (moreor less). Often they can get through life and people hardly notice.

Yeah I have I said to myself why not for example. I came up with general rules like there are limited resources in the land of the functions and that many can't survive on so little food etc etc but a lot of it treats functions as if they exist independently of matter (the brain/ human body etc which is my unpopular opinion ) so I know people won't like em. Also, there are a lot of structural problems in the model I created thus far like if T resources are limited why isn't the person dominant for example since they don't use the same resources so then I came up with various other explanations etc etc but I can't fit all the functions into it... I was trying to come up with my own model for a long time but I guess I got lazy perhaps it is time to revive the idea.

Wouldn't the mere existence of such a person violate Socionics and thus disprove it?

Such a type would conflict with the idea of the static/dynamic dichotomy present in temperaments. Any type can find meaning in people's emotions anyways, so proposing that only such a person is capable of doing that is a strawman waiting to be toppled.

Finding a person who finds meaning in emotions? They're everywhere.

    wow old dead zombie thread

I think it can be easy to spot someones base and demonstrative IE, in the case of IEE, making them appear very + with the hidden in the back, but the is all really smoke-and-mirrors, so under all the vivid displays of they still prioritize

so basically, the 8th function can sometimes seem more apparent than the 2nd function making someone seem like they're ego is made up of two extroverted or introverted IE's

If their was some hypothetical way to measure, to suitable precision, ones strongest two functions, and one found someone to have their first two functions were Ne and Ni that result would violate socionics and thus disprove it. The point being, the Socionics can be falsified if such a case is found.

There are pretty reliable ways of measuring strong functions. Also both Ne and Ni are contradictory ways of thinking. Both can't exist in the same brain because they analyze different and opposite kinds of information, and if there is someone who exists like that I haven't found them.

That just makes them outside the bounds of the model.

About half the people I introduce socionics to try to rearrange the shapes. I forbid it.
