    Default the ESTj strut

Has anyone else noticed this? The 2 ESTjs I know both walk with a strut.

People always accuse me of that. I am not sure if they are imagining things, if I do, or if my feet are uneven or something.

the strut I'm talking about is a characteristic walk, and it's different for each of them, but both struts are confident, almost cocky. one's looks athletic, and the other's looks like a wanna be thug.

An entj I know does that also and again I have been accused of it. I think many people think I am confident whether I am or not in that moment.

I think that's more ESTP really.

ESTJ will walk with confidence, but not aggressively so. They're Administrators, not Commanders.

And really, confidence with tact makes all the difference in the world to an INFJ. (there's a thin balance between your conflictor and your dual I guess) We want somebody powerful, but not somebody who looks too Commander-ish.

Then again I'm not sure how much of an INFP I am, so yeah...you can see how ESTPs intrique me. They just do everything differently than me.

::sigh:: j/p stuff bugs me. I don't think I'll ever figure it out, no matter how many times people try to explain it to me.

don't worry at all about j or p...

    it's SeTi (ESTp)
    or TeSi (ESTj)

yeah, ESTjs try to be smooth, and their strut is an exagerated example of their attempted smoothness

    I definately don't do that.
I like you better already! <3

So hmm this is where socionics turns into 'just a theory' I guess. I'm supposed to be attracted to people who walk like that? *scratches head* (I'm infj, estj is supposed to my dual)

I couldn't even see myself in the same room with somebody that acted like that. I'd want to punch them in the face. (okay that's a little extreme but...yeah)

I don't really agree with the dual pairings. I know we have duals, I just think they maybe they can be any type we want. LOL

That's what I said when I thought I was ENTp. If you go back to the first half of my time here, you'll find me over and over again saying how I am not at all attracted to ISFps and couldn't see myself being with one.

    whoa.
soooo, because someone walks with confidence you'd like to punch them in the face? hahaha, i just thought that was kinda funny the way it was worded.

and for the record, I actually think I walk different at work than I do just when I'm out and about... Since at work I really do think, "i'm the shit" vs. when I'm out just doing whatever i'm just soaking in everything and don't run around thinking I'm better than others. although, i do have a slight strut but i don't think it's very noticeable like some...I actually asked the question to a few friends after reading this thread some time ago...
