Alright, let's try this again: Your sweeping statement makes no sense. I hope it was a joke or hyperbole, not something to be taken seriously. If you are offended by the wording of my reply (which is rather poor, in retrospect), that is fine, and it is understandable, in light of other events here. You are certainly welcome to tell me that you are offended and why, but in a manner that actually addresses the problem. The above quote addressed nothing and seems to me like a very childish reaction ("You've offended me, so you can't be in my quadra").

It's just that Disney tends to have a thematically Delta streak (Walt Disney was ENFp, so I'm sure he set some sort of precedent in that regard).

I don't see how Baloo is ILE. His life is about "the bear/bare necessities (of life) and how a bear can rest at ease." When he's teaching Mowgli how to live "as a bear" it's all about the food, and the back scratching posts, and relaxing, etc. You could say "well of course, he's an animal" except the other characters don't work that way so much... the monkies find his way of life joke-worthy apparently (they serve King Louie who quests after power, not "bear necessities") and I think that Bagheera regards Baloo's Si focused way of life with something akin to distaste and seems to view him as someone whose company he must endure. Anyway with Baloo as ILE, I just keep thinking "what Ne???"... there's a lot of Si, but virtually no Ne.

(unless you meant a different character also named "Baloo" that I don't know about?)

Hmm, you may be right. I'm just going off of gut reactions to his character, but I guess ISFp could also work.

I could accept Pan as a caricature of ILE. He is extraordinarily infantile. He doesn't want to grow up. He doesn't seem to perceive women as sexual beings; he just wants a mother. He is also the embodiment of the dark side of innocence. He doesn't do heartless, "bad" things because he is malicious; he does them because it's funny or interesting, etc. With this being said, I have never seen the play nor read the book, so I'm going off what others have seen in them. And I just realized I'm going on about the non-Disney version. *facepalm* If that one matches what I described above, then I could see it. ^.^;

I like a lot of your typings Poli. I personally think INTj Jafar is worth considering. I mean, he certainly seeks power, but I don't think power seeking is necessarily beta automatically. Alphas can be ambitious. I quite like ISTp Philoctetes, as well as SLE Timon (although I suspect that EIE would end up being a better typing). ESE Sultan is a definite yes in my book. I personally think the Genie is ESE as well.

I'm not sure I've observed any Gammas in Disney lol. The lackeys/sidekicks tend to just be Alphas from what I've seen: Genie, Timon, Pumbaa, etc.

Alice in Wonderland strikes me as a bit of an out-lier to me tbh. It just seems like a general Ne hodgepodge of uh, stuff. Any semblance of J functions seem to be replaced with more Ne lol.

My SEI sister-in-law reminds me of Snow White, all smiles and cheerfulness as she goes about her chores, seemingly in love with everyone and everything. It sounds sickening the way I'm describing it, but really it's a rather contagious attitude when I'm around her.
