Typing my Husband

I'm pretty sure he's a Gamma and a Researcher. He's INTP in MBTI.

So, probably ILI. But, any other possiblities that come to mind?

I've been trying to get him to read the most likely type descriptions, but he'd rather do other things with his time. I think he would read one or two descriptions, though, if I narrowed things down.

Though, I know him pretty well so I can probably pretty accurately figure it out without him.

If you're sure he's a gamma & NT, then excluding ILI the only available option would be LIE. These two types are rather easy to discern: the latter has relatively high baseline energy level, while the former is quite relaxed (EJ vs IP temperament).

Is he a researcher for real or is that just what one of the type descriptions were titled? I haven't been keeping up with the latest socionics type descriptions but the ones I read before didn't seem to really fit me and I actually identified with the LIE ones better. I tested out as an INTP most of the time in MBTI, and the descriptions over there seemed to match pretty well too.

If he's an INTp and you're an INFj, that'd be Beneficiary relations in Socionics with you being the beneficiary and your husband being the benefactor.

That pretty closely matched the style of relationship I had with an INFj once upon a time.

I am an INFJ in MBTI, but I believe I'm actually IEE in socionics. If Hubs is ILI, then that would give us an Illusionary relationship.

I've looked at the Benefit relationship before, when I thought I was INFp and he was INTj (since at first I fell for the J=p and P=j misconception), but only small parts of it really fit; it's not really our relationship.

Illusionary actually describes us pretty well, with fortunately more of the positive aspects than the negative.

Researcher is one of the Clubs. His job is accounting, and he also sells and installs water softeners through the family business.
