You can ignore much of what's in the beginning.

    I agree with Weird Al.

Some more (note the resemblance between the first three!):

    Groucho Marx

"I don't want to belong to any club that will accept me as a member."

John Flansburgh of They Might Be Giants

dislikes: being called quirky, wacky, zany, etc.

    Oscar Wilde

"Consistency is the last refuge of the unimaginative."

"Most people are other people. Their thoughts are someone else's opinions, their lives a mimicry, their passions a quotation."

    David Hume (possibly ENFp)

    Stephen Hawking

Douglas Hofstadter, author of Godel, Escher, Bach

    John Cleese

But what is the argument for David Hume being an ENTp? He strikes me as being more -oriented.

    I've already explained this:

    http://www.the16types.info/vbulletin...ght=david+hume

He always writes his philosophy in very intuitive, conceptual terms. I can't imagine seeing him as a non-Ne-ego type.

Yes, that's quite nice and I've read it before, but I still do not see Hume as an ENTp.

Also, what do you think about ENFp?

Expat, what happened to LII for Hughes?

Oscar Wilde has GOT to be Beta NF, as far as I'm concerned.

As for Hume, I thought the general consensus was ILI. He looks more like it; he definitely does NOT look ILE.
But, for a certainty, back then,

We hurt others and were hurt ourselves...

Yet even then, we ran like the wind,

Hmmm? I don't recall ever typing him as LII, myself. Even if I did at one point (which I doubt), I think ILE makes much more sense. Actually I think LII is very unlikely.

I do remember you saying LII for him once upon a time, perhaps just because of clear Alpha values and NT tendencies, but I agree that ILE is a much better choice.

Boris Johnson, a candidate for mayor of London.

Check out the profile Time did about him. It screams ILE. Probably N subtype, but I'm not licensed to subtype people.

    Boris Johnson: The Clown Prince

He's one of those people who you can't imagine actually chooses to wear a suit. It's like he has an invisible sign around his neck that says "They make me wear this. Don't take it seriously."

i think Josh Brolin the actor might be an ENTp.

i think he might be not ti/fe quadra though and was just influenced by his Texas background (i think of texas as Fe)

this dude from american Idol (David Cook) is ENTp i think. I included all these videos because I there are just small snippets of where he's interacting or talking about Simon, who people say is ISFj. The bottom video is David's audition and I think you can see from the composure way of speaking and thought process that he is a Ti type. Then Simon says also that he is "worthy" which I think means he comes off as "arrogant" which is how a Ti type looks to Fi/Te types. In the second video David says "i have no idea what he meant by that". Which I also think matches an ENTp-ISFj typing. Later David says "i think Simon doesn't like me, maybe hes jealous" which I think is also typical of an ENTp.

EDIT: this interview snippet I think is universal for every entp in the world

"Nags: What are your thoughts about downloading of music - let it be legal or illegal? Do you see it as a tool or as a crime?
David: that's a tricky subject. I can see both sides. Music is, in my opinion, the most emotionally-stimulating medium alive. It's meant to be accessible to anyone. I think the whole legal/illegal side of it is too touchy to touch on, other than to say Illegal is illegal, whether or not it should be banned. Hell, in Missouri, it's illegal to give or recieve oral sex. So laws can and sometimes are trite.

Downloading, on any scale, should be viewed by industry as a tool. The problem is, most industry point fingers and don't offer any viable solutions to capitalize. Myspace, I think, got it right, to some degree. through their database, Aerosmith is of the same device as the hippo rapists from Butte, Montana. Every band is accessible to the same extent. Now, all that needs to happen is the bands need to figure out how to use that to their advantage. Some already have."

sooooo entp. so entp. just the tone and pace of the response, plus the factoid about oral sex.

im sorry but these Simon Cowell - David Cook interactions are just too clean. Watch American Idol to observe this. Ti - Fi/Te clash right there!!! tonight simon's all *SHOCK* don't point out what the rules are. Ti person can shift rules (internal).

So I actually found the guy in the first video to be fairly respectable. He seemed to have a fairly large body of knowledge about sleep, mainly alcohol and marijuana's effect on it. I would guess that ILE's don't necessarily initially seem to be annoying to ILI's.

To the second, "was it a subtle form of chemical warfare?". I thought that one was pretty funny.

I ended up watching almost the entire second video. Initially it was kind of hard to watch because his talking style was kind of loud and grating, but later on I appreciated the humor. Interestingly, his experimental nature with food kind of reminds me of another Youtuber I know called Jschlatt. I'm not sure whether Jschlatt is an ILE.
