    Default LSEs and shrinking teams

LSEs, consider this scenario: you're a leader of a team. Someone decides to leave your team, a trusted member who you had come to rely on as a friend. How do you react?

Offer them an incentive for a possible return and look into viable replacements.

1- try to see if there´s a way of changing the person´s mind, if there´s not

2- get fucking mad and let the rage out breaking something

3- if the person was too valuable, cry

4- try to see possible replacements and minimize losses once the rage/sadness stage is past (usually it´s quick)

    Deal with it.

Your question is rather ... broad. There are a number of different factors determining whether or not I'd say or try to get employment or put my efforts someplace else. It depends on the people, what I see of the future, how things are benefiting me...

That "a friend" is leaving doesn't mean that much.

If you want a better answer, give a better question.
