Ok, so I gave in... I figured that there was really no reason why I shouldn't give him the benefit of the doubt & so after a lot of resisting I finally agreed to a date.

Wow. It's kind of unreal how well we complimented each other. I ended up having a lot of fun & neither of us really wanted it to end. The only problem is that he seemed extremely possessive over me. I mean, I don't think he took his hands off me the entire night. Whenever a guy would talk to me or smile at me he'd grab me close & say something like "you're about to make me mad jealous". wtf. If he had to get up & go somewhere he'd have me go with him & If I had to go somewhere he had to follow me... uh. Anyway, at the end of the night he kind of took a bullet for me, so I'm thankful for that.

Tell him to chill the fuck out. That's not cool. At all. Seriously. Don't put up with it.

Just because someone's your dual and there's an attraction doesn't mean he/she is right for you. Take care of yourself and don't put up with any bullshit. And that kind of behavior IS bullshit.

I'm thinking it was a metaphor? Although I think I agree with the actual point, overly possessive guy has the potential to go from mildly creepy overly possessive to outright bad overly possessive, and then you could end up a weird-dress wearing shut-in like Lauryn Hill because he has some sort of psychic phobia about you looking attractive in public.

i read a psychology book recently called 59 seconds. in it it said that they found through doing studies that people who spend time dreaming about their life goals rarely achieve them. those who visualise the steps needed to achieve these goals are on average more sucessful. it made me think of the estp/infp dynamic straight away. just by being around their estp the infp learns how to focus on the doing rather than being lost in dreaming. have any of you guys noticed this in your dual relationships?
