I am not trying to be mean, but I just have to ask: What type do you want us to say that you are???

I thought you wanted to be ENFj, but you make a point to say how much you hate ISTj's. You seem to brush off when people say you are ENTj. Earlier, I think you made a point that SG thought you were EJ. Rick seems to like to tell you that you are ENTp.

I was thinking that maybe you thought you were ENFp and wanted proof, but you made a point to point out how Rocky and you are some sort of "bad" socionics relation.

So, I am just wondering what more do you want? It seems like you have a ready-made "proof" of whatever type you truly think you are, so I am wondering what is stopping you?

I mean, I can understand someone knowing they are a certain type, but not having any proof of it, but you seem to be in a position where you can select any line of reasoning?

In my opinion, I think it could be equally likely you are ENTj or ENFj, whichever sounds better I guess. I am just a little confused?

Anyway, something occured to me. I think you would be happy with an INFj Ruby. Now I know it has come to the point where being called certain types can be insulting (esp. the dreaded ESTj) but honestly, I don't mean it as an insult whatsoever.

This is an odd situation - surely ESFj would be a less desirable type to be than ESTj, at least if one subscribed to the stereotypes of S, F, and J. But maybe this is all Beta's fault?

Reuben, if you really want to find the truth about your type, I think you should give us more "focused" information about yourself. You seem to start all over again from scratch without finding anything certain to build from. I can help you if you want, but then you have to be more cooperative.

You say that the description from the handwriting analysis is pretty accurate. That may be the case, but it doesn't tell us very much, since it is too vague and unspecific. It could fit many people. If I had to pick one type that comes closest to the description I would chose ENFp.

I have told you more than once that you give a strong impression of being a feeling type. Do you still doubt that? I think you shouldn't. Instead you should take that premise a starting point for further investigations.

You seem convinced that you are an intuitive type of some sort. I can't tell you for sure if you are or not, but let's assume that you really are an N type. In that case we have limited the possible types to four: ENFj, ENFp, INFj and INFp.

If you are right about the N and I am right about the F (which I probably am), why not start our investigation from those premises?

... what are you afraid of? It's certainly something, because you're not making much sense. You ask people to type you through a vague handwriting analysis description which could be of anyone, then when some of us ask for you to reveal your true self, you run away. Not to mention that you call ISTPs "stereotypical" while at the same time you are stereotyping ENTJs and ISTPs.

If you can't be honest with yourself and with us, then you will never be able to accept your type. And stop worring about letting the four-letter acronym define you, as you will soon realize it doesn't really matter what it is (more how you use it).

I swear, this guy is an Introvert with severe identity problems. It's like he has been told all his life that being an "Introvert" is such a bad thing that he has let that belief affect his judgment to the point of not being able to accept the "Introvert" label. Maybe this is why he runs away whenever anyone asks him something serious about him or his type.

Aw, be easy on Ruby. He could be yet another example of someone who can't find thier type because of conflicting family relations.

Is that a general pattern? And by "conflicting family relations" do you mean conflicts and problems in general, or do you refer to relations between types that have a relation of Conflict? In the latter case, could the fact that my mother is an ESFj be one of the reasons it took me so long to determine that I am an INTp?

Actually, nothing could be farther from the truth ... before I found out about socionics, I typed myself as an INTJ in MBTI and thought I was an introvert. Then, I realized descrepencies with MBTI and its definitions of introversion and extroversion, and decided that I could really be either an introvert and extrovert. ENTp and ENFj sounded most like me, so I went with that.

And as far as this preception that I run away, it is because I think people are assholes. And besides the fact that I disagree with the entire premise of the definitions people use for introversion and extroversion, I get sick of dealing with them after a while, especially when they insist where it is not wanted.
