Default My belt theory (or: how to tell J from P)

I have a very simple theory on how you can tell rationals from irrationals.

If they wear a belt as a matter of course, they are rational. If they prefer not to wear a belt unless absolutely necessary, then irrational.

that is all. Oh, and this is more accurate with men since women have more variations with fashion.

lmao this is actually true for me. I hate wearing belts. And I'm not rational.

I don't get it, what's wrong with a belt? Therefore, the theory doesn't work for me. I actually like belts and I'm wearing them almost every time. I hate it if my pants are slipping down, even if it's only a little bit.

Well, sometimes I act like one, but I guess I'm still an ILI. Despite the doctrine of the belt.

I know an LII who doesn't like underwear and has gone commando for majority of his life. Could this be type related?

Maybe. I don't go commando, but I would have no problem living in a nudist country. It would seem so peaceful and relaxed. I hate underwear but boxers are tolerable.

OMG I HATE WEARING BELTS Falling-down pants are preferable to having to wear a belt.

[I]"I think that there's a tendency, yes. I also think that Irrationals tend to prefer tighter pants maybe that's one of the causes?"

Hah I always used to say this...why would I want some uncomfortable belt if my pants fit fine? And belts were always uncomfortable

haha scarves for belts... I tried that once but I felt like it added bulk around my waist. Plus I'm really just a no-belt kinda person. Unless I need one to hold my pants up (which I occasionally do).

What if their pants are bespoke, and therefore don't need a belt?

And if the wear belts in place of scarves, tighten them up and jump off the chair? Oh, nevermind.
