ESI not SEE
I think he’s ESI-N, so elevated Fi + Ti is what keeps him grounded in a chaotic pop star life. He talks about his faith and during all the time he was was touring ever since he was like 13, he went to church regularly and he’s said many times throughout various interviews that God, worship, and faith were his anchors. I haven’t seen any interviews with Hailey but she’s likely IJ too. She’s consistent with her style and manner of expressing herself similar to JB.
Okay I see ESI now after watching a few more vids. I actually thought he's SEE initially but he does seem more controlled like an IJ.
I would also just like to say that he is so adorable to me (all his past negative behaviors aside, I think celebrity life didn't do him good). I like his recent songs like Holy, ETA too. I don't know really... I am not a fan, or maybe I am, but his behavior then until now is understandable to me, to the point that when I heard about his rebelliousness, being rude on cam, messing up on his deposition when he was young lol, even getting the beard everyone hates I was entertained and never saw him as annoying. I guess I really like his "fuck the haters!!" attitude since I feel the same about people too. I also don't understand why a lot of people were put off when he started becoming religious like it was some kind of a sin, my initial thought was we should be happy instead as it is probably something that he actually needed. I'm not even religious, I do read a whole lot about religion and esoterics so I see its value. And the Justin-Hailey thing, people said it was so sudden, he didn't really love him, etc., and the fact that he is singing some "basic" and/or religious music now is supposed to be terrible BUT for some reason his decisions make sense to me. I also like the fact that when he talks to people he talks to them directly, he just focuses on them without checking out other things around as if he's really listening. I really appreciate that from people a lot, not a lot of people do that. He also doesn't act like he's happy when he isn't, his feelings are just out there so it's easy to read. I also remember watching a clip of his about him and Hailey. He said one time he was able to make her leave the studio by saying he arranged a surprise dinner for both of them. But it was all a lie and he just didn't want her in the studio but he knows she wouldn't leave lol. Some people in the comment section said he was such trash, but idk I understood it. If I understood him well, he probably wanted the studio all by himself and be the star, and clearly doesn't require someone to be with him 24/7. Hailey seems to be a caregiver though, and wants to be involved a lot. She also pushes him to eat healthy vegan options for his health and he said it tastes like shit in front of her face. I don't know what an LIE would do, but as a supposed ILI I won't even go to the studio, if I would I'll just sleep the whole time and not get involved. I would also rather not be that conscious about my health or whatever. Most likely Gammas won't act as a caregiver to him.
Anyway, I could say more since I read a few things about him but this is becoming like a JB appreciation post so I'll stop lol. I guess I saw SEE because maybe the reason why I get him is because I'm probably ILI. I'm surely not LIE but I mean I guess I could understand the motivations of ESIs also since they're in the same quadra. So this view doesn't hold much weight. But pretty sure he is Gamma. Most of his traits are Fi and Se. I don't really see EIE, he doesn't really try to affect people with his emotionality. Again he just shows what he feels in the moment, like it doesn't matter to him if the feelings are reciprocated by the group or not. He has sensing in the ego because as people around him has mentioned his has great skill in learning anything kinesthetic in nature (dancing, skateboarding, etc.). What he says are also more Se > Si, like when he and a host were trying to make a dance for his song, his comment to what the host proposed was something like, "who's gonna do that dance in tiktok, no one would like that, we need something cooler". He clearly knows his audience and how to make an impact. To be fair what the host proposed was kinda lame/goofy anyway, and clearly Justin wants to look refined and cool everytime by the way he acts.
I checked his videos just now, I noticed when he was younger he was more jumpy, but now his movements are very controlled now. Maybe it's the Se getting stronger?
Edit: Watched a few more vids and yeah I guess he's ESI since his body movements are not flowy at all and he does look contemplative.

He was soooo jerk-ish and douche-y in the past haha. But I mean now that I think about it- I would want somebody to forgive me being that way (and I have- but maybe not to Bieber level extremes- but fame does things to people.) and so I think you might be right people should let that go and move on from it.
His music still personally doesn't do anything for me. I can't think of any song of his I like. No offense to him & his fans though or anything. I think maybe socionically speaking the reason I don't like it- is that it feels like he's using Fe in this ingenuine way? Even when FE valuers are being really silly I think we also in a way seriously believe in our own silliness it's like complicated idk. But role-ish Fe from Fi valuing quadras comes across as different. I think what I saw from in interviews he came across as Fi valuing. Chelsea Handler got annoyed at his Fi cuz she's really Fe.
Yeah I think he was just so huge before so people saw his mistakes a lot, but if I were him I would have probably attacked people too just because I'm in a bad mood, given that cameras are on me constantly which just adds to the stress.
Yeah I guess it's partly Fi vs Fe. People do think his recent songs are inauthentic somewhat. I took the lyrics at face value because they're coherent to his experiences, like in Holy's lyrics he sang about how he's a sinner and marrying Hailey seemed too rushed to others but he just felt it was right that it was like a holy experience for him. But I guess he's too Fe ignoring that he didn't consider people's current perception of him (he has been the jerk for so long lol) so maybe Fe valuers thought that he was trying to push a new and kinder persona to save his ass, when he could have just toned down a little and waited for the negative perception to fade instead of stirring the pot and grab attention just to speak his truth again (I think this is so common for Fi egos). I understand why that would seem a bit rude and inauthentic. He does things right sometimes (like collabing with Ariana, and fellow singers to make simple and fun hit songs like a decent popstar would), but his Fi is too strong, he probably gets bored or something by doing just that haha
I actually liked him and didn’t find his “douche” phase anything out of the norm of being a teen and growing up. But we’re mirrors so I get where he’s coming from since I actually do get bitchass angry around Fe valuers and egos for longer than... a few minutes. I’m normalizing SEE (Ti+Fi) and I don’t engage with Fe much, as I’m developed closer to being ESI. He grew up in endless Fe spotlight and that likely agitated him and pushed him over the edge several times. But the Se is there which was why he kept his constitution and told everyone else to fuck off lol. I’ve done that a lot growing up and I still say “fuck you” to basically anyone who stands in my way, whether I say it in my head, with my fist, but trust that I’ll push back. That’s the thing about Gamma SFs... they have both the predatory and caring love styles because Se makes them predator but being an SF makes them also care for who they hunt down. Hunting isn’t for the bragging rights unlike how it is for Beta STs. I want who I hunt down to handle my fiery rebelliousness but in return, I’ll love and care for them through hell and back. And I don’t think love is ever rushed for Gamma SF... I think they really are attracted to the lightning fast, intense love rather than slow build ups. That’s how I respond anyway, cuz if it’s not instant, I don’t care.
LOL yeah Fi too stronk, Se too stronk at the same time. That combo creates some problems when the Se senses threats. Yeah... I believe you’re astute about that with Fe egos vs Fi egos thing. I’m the same way as him, even though I have no fame to speak of. I’m actually more intolerant of being on camera and get irate under others’ watchful eyes. I mean, I’ve done some assholey things as reactions to this because I felt like others were trying to assert themselves above me and I wanted to make sure they understood that I’ll flip the tables on them when I want to. I don’t make threats but sometimes I surprise myself at what I’ve done and what I’m capable of because I think I’m squeaky clean.

After taking classes with G, much of this got clarified. I think JB exhibit too much F (Se) to have it be only utilized in close/private sphere. He’s realistically SEE, distant subtype; probably N with focus on R (Fi) function accentuation. He uses control S (Si) when under conflict/contention so he remains calm but authoritative with the way he handles it. He’s very restless and always on the move. ESI is an S (Si) type and only utilize F to a limited degree (they have F- like SLE) mainly for the purposes of damage control and pushing/purging whoever or whatever they don’t like out of their lives. ESI do not handle fame for any amount of length or endurance (endurance is F+ and they have F-).
