Thread: Is Hugo ENTj?

    Default Is Hugo ENTj?

This description fits me very well, especially when I get on much better with ENTjs than INTjs on this forum:

    http://www.socionics.com/advan/prof/entj.htm

Your strongest virtue is excellent enterprise where new business ventures and projects are involved. You have a very business-like mind and know well how to adapt any theory or idea for practical use. You do not have time for unimportant and trivial matters; instead you are always attracted to valuable and worthwhile aims and projects. You could be called a person of action as you do not let your plans and goals go unrealised. You quickly and easily take onboard new business proposals trying always to bring it to a satisfactory conclusion. You are an optimistic person and believe strongly in the success of every project you undertake. It is important for you to gain experience from many different fields of activity. Elements of risk do not discourage you that easily.

You can be tactless when talking about intimate subjects and insensitive to others feelings. Your humour often has double meaning. When you are in action you can be rude and show bad manners. You like excessive attention. Organising everyday matters can cause you considerable difficulty. You often have no time for rest. Although you always try to maintain a healthy style of life, you don't take as much care of yourself as you should. You often do not show enough attention to your appearance and ignore advice on this subject. You are not so sure about your aesthetic understanding either.

    @ Alovix/Blake/Hugo
I am still open to the idea.
What made you think you were an INTJ in the first place?

And please, stop being a prick.

Umm... But ISTj would make sense in one way. Ok, I know this ISTj, who is generally very nice and friendly. She also gives the impression that she is very logical and structured. And at first I assumed she was NT, but in reality when she has made up her mind, it's really hard to persuade her. With me or Erkki, it's easy. Present us with credible facts and we will change our minds in seconds. But there is something much more stubborn about that ISTj. And Hugo, I think you have the same kind of meticulous stubbornness.

as your 1st function seems to make sense, but my conscious functions are very different, so I can't really analyse the rest of them.

    LIE?! I would never!
PS! I hate the name "LIE", lets just call it ENTj, which has a pretty ring to it.

I think it's the amount of successful ENTjs and how anyone could be an ENTj if they read the description right and just really agreed.

That's very true of me. While I'm working, studying, working out, doing sports, or anything that I identify as "work" you'd better not to start to speak to me too much or I'll roar. Gah, not that I like this, but it's just like that.

However, Hugo doesn't strike me as ENTj. Especially his approach to socionics.

    No.

His approach to socionics is to try to make it into a simple system -- he even thought for a while that that test of his was infallible, after checking it only with a few people here. That is >> in my opinion.

Also, maybe it's just me but I do think that a dogmatic, rigid, inflexible set of beliefs, whether moral or religious, is also an indication of stronger / than / .

Every girl? Just the ones that looks like they are. Count the girls on the forum and count the ones I said are ISFj.

BTW this is stereotypical ISFj reaction of twisting the facts.

The in ENTjs works to support the dominant function, and one of its manifestations is in helping analyse the information collected externally. My understanding is that it is "aggressive" in the sense of interacting with others, not in the sense of being more natural than the dominant function.

As for his test, I meant specifically the very latest version -- the one where you see the "is it very like you" and "is it very unlike you" options. He was quick to say that that one was infallible and that McNew did not even need to work on his own test anymore. He said that a few times -- to me that is a very way of thinking, even more ISTj than INTj.

Ok then. I don't know your father, but he does seem ENTj. But I did not mean only the religious aspect, Hugo is very rigid in his dogmas of how women should behave etc but perhaps they are one and the same in that case.
