One should read this book very carefully, because Frau Hochnadel revises both Socionics and C.G.Jung's original theory in many aspects. Just look, for example, how she compares socionic types with MBTI types.

Als Informatikerin musste ich die Grundlagen von Sozionik revidieren. Es ist möglich, dass Sozionik deswegen weniger unterhaltsam geworden ist, dafür aber konsequent mit der Theorie von Informationsverarbeitung und mit der Typentheorie von Jung.

Mit Timofej sind wir deswegen zerstritten, wie es leider manchmal auch in anderen Wissenschaften passiert. In den letzten Monaten kam es mir öfter vor, dass Sozionik nicht wie eine Wissenschaft, sondern wie eine Art religiöse Lehre betrieben wird. Timofej wird natürlich für immer mein Lehrer in Sozionik bleiben. Ich habe es von ihm gelernt, den Typus zu erkennen, und das hat mich dazu gebracht, mich auch theoretisch mit Funktionen und Typen näher zu beschäftigen.

As a systematic scientist I was impelled to revise the basic principles of socionics. It is possible, that through this means socionics has become less diversive and possibly more compatible with the theory of 'information-metabolism' and with the theories of Jung.

With Timofej we are also at odds on this account, as it unfortunatelly happens sometimes in other sciences. In the last few months he came to me often saying that socionics is not a science, and actually should be treated more like a type of religion. Timofej will forever be my teacher of socionics; it was from him that I learned to recognize types, and with that I have been brought to the point to where I can also work more abstractly with my own implementations.

More compatible? Sounds cynically I'd characterize her theory as a kind of theoretical voluntarism. Don't forget, she has learnt Socionics from the unfamous Tipolog.

In fact she is not German, she is Jewish and comes from either Russia or Ukraine, I do not know exactly. Didn't she notice that in her biography?

No, I didn't read her biography, I just read the short paragraph you quoted. I read some texts of her website once and noticed the same particularities. It all reminded me strongly of how "Russlanddeutsche" speak.

All the rest as ESTj and a few as (?).

It's a pity, it would have been nice to have a full good socionics book online.

There are good socionic books with good examples from real life and even long interviews illustrating each part of the theory (written by Filatova (St.Petersburg), Beskova and Udalova (Moscow)). Alas, all these books are in Russian.
