And this may sound odd to people who don't pay as much attention to this stuff as I do... I just try and notice "how" people move. For example, you can notice how when you shift your weight around, it's mostly just the movement in your lower body (SF). You are holding the camera in your hand, yet your arm doesn't seem to move much when you shift your weight. You've got the "wave" too. Plus the facial expressions.

And duals don't have to be exciting....

Ah... yes, I was waiting for that. I could feel people's eyes rolling when I wrote that, which is why I said it makes me feel funny to try and describe it. This sort of thing goes misunderstood all the time. But I don't care. You can see what you want to see. There is no way of convincing others of what I can only see with my eyes.

Just consider the fact that "Brain Types" may be a little "deeper" then socionics, and probably isn't completley compatable with it, k?

Then maybe consider me more of going about this from a general psychological angle than a pure socionist. But I'm not the only one. I think a lot of the older members will say that you shouldn't sell your soul over to socionics completely, because as a predictive tool it has its flaws (if you are saying that socionics does not exist without other people). To be honest, it would be a little scary to allow socionics tell you everything about relationships.

I know it's not. Then what is valid in socionics? It seems like interpreting relationships is rather subjective. Then where is the defining point? How can you clearly and definitavely determine someone's type through intertype relations? What's the meter for determining type? How would you exaclty "type" someone?

Sometimes it feels that this "doubting socionics" is a phase we all have to go through. I get a bit of a deja vu feeling reading your latest posts. If you read some of my earlier posts... Anyway, socionics cannot be currently proven, but often times it appears to have some explanatory power, and it sure makes other people more interesting. :wink:
