    Default VI me!

For those of you who have read my posts when I was a regular contributor to this forum, you would have prolly known my type. Anyway, I would still like to know your opinion in terms of VI.

You look very much like ESE/ ESFj; would you be able to post a side picture of you with your hair back please?

I'm constantly looking to align the real with the ideal.I've been more oriented toward being overly idealistic by expecting the real to match the ideal. My thinking side is dominent. The result is that sometimes I can be overly impersonal or self-centered in my approach, not being understanding of others in the process and simply thinking "you should do this" or "everyone should follor this rule"..."regardless of how they feel or where they're coming from"which just isn't a good attitude to have. It is a way, though, to give oneself an artificial sense of self-justification. LSE

Hi Eunice. You VI a lot like this girl I went to school with. No clue about her type but I thought IJ then.

I know we've never talked or anything, but Glam once brought up that how you describe yourself seems Ti dominant. That's also my suggestion.

Whenever I see people get emotional over a music, person, concert etc., I find it foreign because I have never have such strong feelings over something. Sounds weird, but sometimes I will even be unsure about how I am feeling. I would consider myself a very even-tempered person.
This is pretty Ti ego-ish, especially the limited range of emotional expression and being unsure of what you're feeling.

We rarely hold grudges because of weak Fe, and I've never seen a Ti IJ holding a grudge against a particular person, because the costs involved just aren't worth the costs in energy. We may or may not easily accept and forgive (depends on a bunch of factors), and we can certainly avoid or oppose people we didn't like, but experiencing hatred on a deeper emotional level (like anger) is hard to do.

I also tend to like people from whom I can learn something new from and about them every now and then. I tend to get bored when there is nothing more to learn about them and the relationship basically becomes stagnated and I don't see any potential in carrying it on. (That was currently what was going on between me and my ESTj (technically) best friend.) As such, I'm prone to liking guys who are friendly, sociable, active and constantly improving themselves, leading life with a sense of purpose. It would be better if they also believe strongly in serving their communities and not afraid of to accept leadership roles and make a difference.
It sounds like you'd be happy in a relationship with an EJ, Si creative. The bolded part suggests ESE much more than either LSE or EIE.

You could still be EII, but I doubt you're any kind of Fe ego if what's written above sums you up well.

    Welcome back btw.

Okay, okay. If we're really doing VI and I would force myself to say something, then I'd go with EII.

Hi jxtres, it's been awhile since I have read your posts as well.

As for the limited range of emotional expression, I have been informed by people around me about this weakness. I'm not someone who gets overtly excited very easily and some have described me as one of the calmest persons they have ever known. Based on one of my interactions with an ex-schoolmate whom I have typed as an ESTp, he seems frustrated by what he perceived as the lack of feedback he gets from me and finds me hard to read as an individual. I rarely get angry, but there was once someone has provoked me incessantly to the extent that I have a sudden outburst. This had shocked that particular person as he had thought that I was nonchalant due to my lack of display of emotions.

As for my relationship, I would like someone who is more extraverted, emotionally effusive and comfortable in his own skin. I'm already quite an inexpressive person, I don't need someone who is too formal or business-like. I like people who are curious about me and would like to learn more about me, and not talk too much about himself. He must also be someone who surprises me by the new things i discover about him every now and then. Hence, someone who is too predictable is not preferred.
