Well, I've heard an LII lamenting that an LIE friend of hers stopped initiating contact, so she eventually got sick of picking up for that instead. Likewise with an EII dealing with an LSE.
On another note, I'm really reliant on other people actually taking the first step to talk to me or whatever, but after that, I tend to be the one starting conversations or suggesting things to do.
Things like that.
I have to take all the initiative. Noone else ever does. Does that explain anything?![]()
when I was younger I never took any initiative. now that I'm older, I do sometimes, mostly because I know it's good for me to get out and do things, connect with people or whatever and sometimes even the extroverts are busy and could use creative ideas. I think some of this depends a bit on one's stage in life. You'd think an ESE would initiate a lot with friends and stuff but my husband almost never calls people up to do things and he's often complained in the past that I have more friends than he does. He's getting better at that sort of thing but it doesn't necessarily follow that the extrovert always does it or that they're good at it, especially when they're introverted extroverts.
