I'm having second thoughts about my type,too.I think i am ILI (not LSI) and i also get this type on socionics tests but according to the MBTI test i am an ISTJ and this is irritating (at first i would get INTJ but i am not that stiff and detached altough i mostly live in my head thinking of alternative flows of events(mostly imagining how life would be if i were perfect).Also, I am not good with keeping up with personal timetables so i end up rushing to make it till the deadline-if that tells you something.Socially,I have the potention of a kindergardener.I still can't function in a grown-up world and i am very nostalgic of those years.I don't like going out for night entertainment (bars ,clubs etc.) and I will never call somebody to ask if she/he wants to go out with me even if i crave human contact.Of course ,"crave" is an overstatement,

The thing is that i keep reading that LSIs don't get the big picture ,they are extreme comformists etc etc.I seem to be slightly a comformist because i don't have much energy or motivation to fabricate new ways and not because i like the existing ones.As for the big picture ,like how hard is it to get the big picture? can somebody give me an example of GETTING A BIG PICTURE? (posting a huge .jpg won't be funny).

hahaha... I have an LSI friend who works as a graphic designer. A year ago, he took an MBTI test and scored rocket high on all four dichotonies - ISTJ - and ever since reading the MBTI-descriptions, he has walked around saying pessimistic little things like "I am apparently the most boring person ever. Also I'm apparently not creative. Maybe I should just quit my job? It seems to not be the kind of job I should do. I should probably do accounting. I'm like a human machine. I'm so disappointed."

Sometimes i feel that i am meant to be a "human machine" -when i get my BA in applied informatics i will be able to work as an accountant.But i was not always like this! Since i was little i would draw and sketch.Two years ago i was taking preparation courses to get into Fine Arts but somehow i ended up here (Greek educational system + pressure by mother to be an architect + lack of motivation=fail).Now i am disappointed by the System so instead of turning into an anarchist i quit.

Also, IEI's tend to be sarcastic too and stuff, but not as blunt as crazedrat. He might be a bit of an extreme ILI, but he's no stereotype IEI either. I stick with ILI for him.

I don't associate his behaviour with typical IEI behaviour, not is it particularly ILI, but some internet people are not quite like the people I encounter IRL, maybe this similar for you, sometimes I think internet socionics takes a slightly different approach to typing.

That sort of stuff.

the reason i changed my self typing had also to do with a change in my personality. like i said my ego dissolved somewhat, along with my laziness, and i've become more .. behavioral, more zoned in on reality. at the same time i realized i was INFp. I consider it a legitimate type change. I'm not typing the same parts of myself as I was before. Before, I was typing myself based on the mind games I played alone all day. When I was stuck in that world, I was ILIish. Now I'm IEIish. But what exactly I am I don't think has yet been discovered by socionics. (There are just too few types). I explain my thoughts on this in the post .. just read it.
