There are many great beta athletes. This thread's purpose is to compile a list of them.
I'll start with some INFps:
Joe Flacco, (NFL Quarterback for the Baltimore Ravens
Eli Manning:

I've always thought Andy Pettitte was admirably Aristocratic. Probably Beta introvert; I see some expression similarities to Nick, as well as an IEI friend of mine from high school.

But, for a certainty, back then,
We loved so many, yet hated so much,
We hurt others and were hurt ourselves...
Yet even then, we ran like the wind,
Whilst our laughter echoed,
Under cerulean skies...
I could easily see Pettite as Ti ISTj. I see the expression resemblance you're talking about, but he seems static>dynamic to me. Look at how stiff and block-like he looks in that pic with the suit. Doen't seem as fluid as INFps.
Oh and Derek Jeter is INFp, compare their moments an manners of speaking.
I agree with Andy Pettitte as INFp.
Cliff Lee, Philadelphia Phillies, Ni-INFp
Derek Jeter, NY Yankees, Ti-ISTj
Alex Rodriguez, NY Yankees, Ti-ESTp
A few beta NFL quarterbacks
Donovan McNabb (Fe-ENFj: )
Boomer Esiason (Ni-ENFj: )
Ben Roethlisberger (a leading subtype Beta ST: )
The Boston Celtics (4/5 of the starting line-up is beta: )
Paul Pierce, (Ni-INFp: )
Kevin Garnett (Se-ISTj) and Rajon Rondo (Ti-ISTj: )
Kendrick Perkins (Ti-ISTj: )
Which beta NF do you think he is..?
I've been watching some of the Olympics and I think Hannah Kearney (American gold medalist for Women's Moguls) is an SLE
EII INFj

I'm constantly looking to align the real with the ideal.I've been more oriented toward being overly idealistic by expecting the real to match the ideal. My thinking side is dominent. The result is that sometimes I can be overly impersonal or self-centered in my approach, not being understanding of others in the process and simply thinking "you should do this" or "everyone should follor this rule"..."regardless of how they feel or where they're coming from"which just isn't a good attitude to have. It is a way, though, to give oneself an artificial sense of self-justification. LSE
