I'm partial to doling out and requesting double fudge w peanut butter chips, or peanut butter chocolate chip cookies. But really, that table to your left has a variety. The Animal Cookies seem to go fast though, you may be out of luck there.

I have a job! I'll be working overnights at a call center. It's full time with a set schedule, so I can actually make doctors' appointments and the like without worrying about whether I'll be free. I'll be able to see my friends there (and someone who might possibly become one), and I don't have to worry about the heat. *extremely happy*

Those pink and white animal cookies from "Mother's" are the best.

    Recent conversation with my stepfather.

    *making salad*
Me: This is so much easier.
    Dad: What?
Me: Normally when I make salad, I tear one leaf at a time and make sure the pieces are small enough. It's much easier to just grab a handful and tear, and not worry about the size so much.
Dad: Oh. Well, I'm glad you noticed that. ^.^ If I had seen you doing it the other way, I would have been sure to say something.

I find myself thinking that if my stepfather weren't such a moral/religious stick-in-the-mud who was overly fixated on his own authority (and being agreed with), he might actually be pretty cool. He's very helpful, at the least.

So I told a male friend at work about the Inuyasha strip from Head Trip. He closed his eyes and shuddered, went to take a drink of his cranberry juice... looked at it for a moment, then set it down and said he'd drink from his bottle of water for a while. And I cracked up. I had to compose myself when the next call came in, and the greeting still came out a bit cracked. Fun times.

    Work fun!

I think one of my co-workers may be , more likely creative than base. She is very comfortable talking about how she likes someone (especially me), be it for this reason or another; in fact, she is far more comfortable about talking this way than I am. Not long after we met face-to-face (she is the wife of another co-worker and friend), she said I was probably going to be her new best friend. She strikes me as vocal, energetic (even a bit hyper) and possibly somewhat scattered. A couple of days before they were supposed to go into the nearby city (they live in a another town), she invited me to hang out with them and then informed her husband after I said OK. Upon thinking up animal representations for my co-workers (impromptu comics, yay!), "otter" came to mind for her. I was a little put off at first, mostly because someone I had not had time to develop an attachment to was declaring I would be their new best friend, but I like her. She apparently finds me incredibly entertaining and one of the things that keeps her from falling asleep (we work the night shift), and she recently commented on how she likes that I am thoughtful (in the sense of thinking before I speak).

Another co-worker... I don't have a strong read on his IM elements, but I wonder if he isn't . He's a low-key, blunt sort of guy who cannot stand stupidity yet works in a customer-related job (sometimes at work, I can sit there and watch him become increasingly agitated at the callers on the other end). He's fairly money-savvy; where I don't cook because I am too lazy, he'll cook because leftovers means less money spent overall. He lives with an old friend of mine who I could see as being relatively Infantile, and they bicker like an old married couple. It sounds like the guy may do more of the housework. He seems to have a pretty individualistic mindset, being against both organized government and religion; I'll have to go dig up the motives for that some time, as they are in my chat log somewhere. One thing that really stands out about him is how incredibly helpful he is. I live about two miles from work, and he has offered to drive me home more than once, without asking for any money in return. He is also the one who drove me to Wal-mart while my parents were gone (back when I spilled coffee on the keyboard and shorted it out). He is Buddhist, and his philosophy is basically, "Do nice stuff for people". We seem to get along well; if I annoy him in any way, he hasn't said so.

I have a couple other regular co-workers, but I don't have any particular type-related impressions of them yet.

My laptop has been resurrected! My friend saved the data and installed the latest Windows on it. However, the cursor keeps jumping, and the computer seems to have an auto-double tap mechanism involved, which is driving me nuts. Google is not entirely helping, so I'll have to catch my friend in the morning (he's crashed right now). Also... ugh, work crap. I'll elaborate when my keyboard works better.

This made me think of SLI for some reason...probably some weird stereotype. But it's still cute and amusing.
