I'm constantly looking to align the real with the ideal.I've been more oriented toward being overly idealistic by expecting the real to match the ideal. My thinking side is dominent. The result is that sometimes I can be overly impersonal or self-centered in my approach, not being understanding of others in the process and simply thinking "you should do this" or "everyone should follor this rule"..."regardless of how they feel or where they're coming from"which just isn't a good attitude to have. It is a way, though, to give oneself an artificial sense of self-justification. LSE

I just noticed that I was not consciously aware of having any song in my head at all, at this time. For me personally, not having any music running through my head is an enormous blessing. I am troubled by unwanted music in my head a lot of the time. So, 'The Sound Of Silence' would be the appropriate song for this, except you'd have to take that title literally, because I actually don't want to hear *that* song, either.

A couple years ago I was put in charge of decorating the college for Valentine's Day. I made some gorgeous, fancy decorations from construction paper, glue, scissors, and imagination. Then I covered a couple cabinets with them. But my favorite was the diagram of a human heart I put up. So romantic!

Wow, this page is so slow loading and so dysfunctional that I might not even be able to type this reply. Okay - I was having some kind of browser problem.
'Human' by The Killers - Are we human, or are we dancer? was playing overhead when I went to Wal-Mart. I am both. If I ever have so much free time that I don't have to worry about doing urgent things, and instead I can do things like write music, then I'd put this on my list of songs I'd like to remake. I would make it more ecstatic. Since I love 6/8 beats I might remake it to that beat, like 'The Walls Are Coming Down' by Fanfarlo, another song which I occasionally heard playing on the overhead radio at work several years ago. 6/8 songs make me want to dance. Actually I'm not absolutely sure that song is written in 6/8 but it seems like it is. But remaking songs is just another one of those things that I can't do when I'm too busy worrying about a million other things.
