Of the Alphas I know on the other hand, plenty of them seem really into sports, and I don't really see what they see in them. Sports seem kind of counterproductive, a waste of time and energy, or too dull and repetitive of a stimulus (would be things I would say about them.) Do a lot of Gammas not like sports? (football, baseball, soccer, etc.)
Seems to me, leading types are most into sports, followed by leading.

I've noticed that betas/deltas seem to be more interested in watching sports than alphas/gammas. I think the sports team fandom thing might be related to the aristocratic/democratic dichotomy. Seems the aristrocratic quadras (beta/delta) have a more us against them kind of mentality. At an extreme, it could lead to being a rabid fan of one team and intensely disliking another team.

To me, being a fan of one team and hating another team makes little sense. I don't personally know any of the players. If I did, I'd be more inclined to cheer on individual players rather than the team as a whole.

I don't play any sports and rarely watch sports except for special events like the olympics. I remember watching the 2008 Summer Olympics and not caring about how many medals the USA won compared to other countries. I was more more interested in the athletes themselves, learning about their intense training regimens, and watching them performing incredible physical feats. I cheered on individual athletes, not necessarily those from my country. Not sure how much related to the aristocratic/democratic dichotomy this is.
