Default Don't lose hope- socionics IS actually helpful

So lately I see some jaded posts about how socionics is useless or blah blah and all that. I think this is false. And while it's always a good reminder that you can't let this shit go to your head too much, using socionics 'prudently' has been VERY useful in my everyday life.

I don't know what it is, but since I've come to this message board over time, I've noticed people want to be around me more (irl I mean). Before for some reason, I just rubbed people the wrong way before. Now I can quickly and accurately type people and I respond to them correctly. I don't always act impulsively. I kinda know better when to 'show my real self' and when to hide it out of business respect and when the situation won't boil over so much. It's a learning, work in progress- but I'm much better then what I was before. I am drawing the people I want closer into my romantic life, and well I have no professional life because I think that shit is ghey BUT, I do know how to keep a better business relationship with types that are unstable and psychically damaging for me to be close to. Again it's a process, everything is a journey, all that jazz- and I still make mistakes.

But ever since I got into the self-development business, I've attracted much better relationships, my first serious relationship (what I always wanted), and real friends who I can trust and count on. I had NOBODY before, and it was really because of just poor all-around social skills that socionics helped me over-come I think naturally over-time. It just kinda happened organically on it's own I think. I still feel like me. But I'm not this repulsive, human repellent anymore.

    SO THANK YOU SOCIONICS!

Yeah I agree socionics gives some pointers in terms of interacting with people, and in turn helps self-development (the 2 can sometimes go hand in hand).
