Time to go Hunting SLEs/ESTps!

Alright, so I'm at college, and there must be SLEs here somewhere, 'cause there's a bunch of people here/I'm in the biggest city in America. As such, I need to know how to find an SLE girl and subtly work some sort of theoretical magical charm on her, although I'm not sure exactly how this is supposed to work. So.... tips? Ideas, hints, help, approaches? Especially, how do I not approach her/the situation with the idea that we are going to complete each others worlds, because I find that relationships don't develop right when you've got a bunch of socionics influencing (contaminating?) your behavior in the situation (socionics seems to be much more useful for knowing what situations to get in, some general parameters to keep in mind about them, than for actually helping you act in the best way in a given situation).

So yeah, that's the thread. Thoughts?

Yes, this advice will play out perfectly for SLE girls, I can definity see that. It is very NI/SE romance, I personally got very closed to some SLE girls just by doing that.

like, i'm at a college right now where there is a shitload of hipsters, so therefore it's a decent spot for IEIs. right now, there is this one IEI here who I really don't like personally, but i so wanna do him becasue of the above reason. it's really terrible. it's what i think about nowadays. okay, i'll elaborate tomorrow when i'm all down. night night. =)

:raises hand: Yep, the result of many a relationship ending before it could really start. Sometimes I do it conciously just to see if they really are interested. But mostly I'm caught up in my own weird headspace that I don't notice that I do it.

Anyway, it's nice to hear that there are people who exist who mistake my elusiveness for being mysteriously hot. Heh. Just need to find one. Ugh.

I don't mind muscles. But not too much. I guess if the guy is an athlete etc I don't mind. But then again, I really do not find Cristiano Ronaldo attractive at all for example. I find him really greasy which is really hypocritical of me since I do like the odd piercing and tatt on a guy. I guess I prefer a guy who is muscular because he does a lot of activity not one who does activity just to be muscular. And I like indie boys too. Oh well, just rambling. Ignore me.

Hail silverchris9, I just saw your whines for a SLE girl, actually I've never met one, maybe I should add the word: unfortunately. I'm a SLE male, and I had some troublesome time finding a INFp Girl, and I still not sure if she is a INFp or ENFp, I know she is a E4w5. The same hardship you had in your quest for a SLE female you're having I had for finding a suitable girl for me. As you seen my complete personality "typefication" here on my signature, it probably doesn't sound something really pleasant for most people, it's something people see in my personality I have so much energy that some people think I'm a schizo, but fortunately it's not my case. Well, I understand you, even living in a huge city you might not find the girl you want, because weirdly the bigger, the more distant from each other its inhabitants are, and that is so because big cities are as a rule of thumb a center of intense activity, and people focus on their duties and appointments during the whole day, this excess of activity that people go under in huge cities are the cause of these places being full of loneliness.

Ever thought about dating an ISTj girl(what is also rare, I have to admit) or your identical meanwhile you continue your search for an SLE woman? I think a relationship with an ISTp girl would be good for you, maybe you can even have fun with an ENTp girl or an ESTj at the beginning.

Finally I'd like to add something to this text, I've never met another ESTp guy in my country until recently, I've found one ESTp in a enneagram forum, we became good friends as we have strikingly similar hobbies, tastes, and views toward the world. I have a strange feeling that those harsh and aggressive types like ESTp are getting rarer, and the more sensitive types are overlapping us in these last decades, that's what I feel at least for the country where I live, and maybe also US. Can't say about the rest of the world. I can't deny the possibility of being full of shit about this.

I similarly have a feeling that truly perceptive/understanding types like INFps are getting rarer to be replaced by fact-based automatons, and also suspect that I am full of shit. I think it's a beta thing, or maybe a human thing, to think that people like me are dying out and people like stuff I don't like are increasing in number.

You are very smart. Especially vis a vis that ENTp girl thing. Still cool, not as intimidating(ly awesome) as SLEs. However, I don't think I could deal with an ESTj. I'd wanna be close. Close + ESTj = bad.

well friend, you know what I think? that we might be over perceptive toward our dual's characteristics. I perceive more sensitive people, I think automatons are usually ignored by me, as I am one of them. Interestingly I used to whine, and I still whine for sensitive people, that's a requisite to be a real friend of mine, be sensitive, I like to be around sensitive people, they make me feel more lively. I know that you'd have quite good time beside a ENTp because the relation you have with them is like the relation I have ISFp type, they have some points in common with you, the same is true regarding me and an ENTp, I recommended you ESTj friends because I have a friend who is INFj, and you'd have a similar relationship that i have with him, but it's not warm nor cold, but it's OK, a lot of intellectual exchange.I'm sure you can befriend easily a ISTp, the same happens to me and the ENFp, although I stay away of them when they're gay, one of them fell in love with me dramatically and it was no good experience for me avoiding this guy, he was trying to convince me I also had a homosexual side, but anyway, those are the advices I have to give to you, I hope they can be of some use for you.

Ah, just another thing, they'll appear, the SLE slut that you're so eager for will appear soon, because SLE, although we may have many liaisons, we're never satisfied far from an INFp, you're just perfect for us. In my case, I really couldn't be satisfied with someone who I have no deep sentimental involvement with, as a Ti - SLE friend said to me: "you strangely don't know how to separate love form sex, what is kind of interesting also", I think it might be a rare case when we talk about a ESTp like me, I really prefer love than sex, a thousand times more. Sex just for fun is meaningless for me. I used to think that IEI's tend to be more romantic, but I've been seeing lately quite many IEI lechers, that was kind disappointing for me.

Just mentioning again that thing I said before, I think you might be over sensitive to Se and I to Ni, I see many people who take emotions into account in their lives, that might be frustrating sometimes when I want to act objectively and straightforwardly, what sometimes might be annoying for you, that's why some people call us ruthless and dispassionate, and I think both adjectives are true, but not always.

I think this over sensitiveness toward our dual's main function might be an eternal fountain of disappointment for us, as we're going to be always under the shadow of delusion, I've been deluded many times because I fall in love with clear demonstrations of Ni, I'm prone to fall in love with INTp, ENFj and ENTj, this last one I hate be on their paws, sometimes they can close their fists, and forgetting their claws. I think the same might happen to you and ESFp, ISTj and ISFj. This last one, try to avoid them, please, you're going to do yourself a great favor.

Actually, I think I misunderstood you. It seems that you find in the world a proliferation of the types of people you like---sensitive types, IEIs. I find a proliferation not of the types that I like, those who are forceful and strong and energetic and active (all words I associate with SLEs), but of the types that I tend to not like as much, which are, basically, people who aren't appreciative enough (in my view) of Ni+Fe. SLEs are very appreciative of Ni, which makes them . I think there's a pretty even number of Se-egos. I don't feel like there's a ridiculously large amount, nor do I feel like there's a small amount. I do feel that there are few-ish IEIs, but I could be completely wrong about that.

Objectively and straightforwardly... those are sometimes good things, I think. I mean, sometimes its unwise to not take people's feelings into consideration, or just unkind, and theoretically I can be of assistance to my SLE friends/eventual girlfriend(s) in that area. But sometimes you just gotta do stuff to make stuff happen. That's what I like.

But I do like the idea of being overly sensitive to dual's characteristics. I can feel Se from a mile away (just kidding).

I'm afraid, mate, that you are in shit territory. This is because it's not simply a case of telling you to stop being a pussy and go and find a fit SLE chick (because you are IEI, and she wouldn't be attracted by that - personally, I find girls who come onto me a bit of a turn off, really; they make me think they are SLE or something, and that I'm some fucking weedy guy who can't hit on someone I like). As a male, you are expected to make the first move, so the world is against you if you are not the type to do that. So you gotta just sit there and wait for her to come to you.

On the bright side, Herzy's got some tactieics all worked out for you. Follow that shiz.

Oh, and FTR, unfortunately you won't find a large concentration of SLEs in any one area e.g. the field track or the gym; even better - you'll find them EVERYWHERE, even in places you'll least expect it. In a bookshop or the library, in a supermarket, in an extracurricular drama class or something, or... at the gym or field track, maybe.

lol, all the encounters with SLEs that I can remember involved them approaching me. I've only taken a few classes at university and in one of them an SLE girl did approach me; of course at the time I was in a bad place and it bewildered me that she wished to talk to me ... you're welcome in advance for the unhelpful post!
