Thanks for supplying the starting point. That's essentially what I was looking for.

"Hobbies" -- wouldn't say that I have any. Doing what I genuinely prefer to do is not such a rare occasion that I'd feel the need to assign a special term to it. I enjoy reading, writing, fucking around on the internet, listening to music, creating music, coming into contact with nature, learning about new things and basically doing anything that stimulates the intellect.

School subjects... well, it's easy for me to become absorbed in just about anything so I don't know. I guess generally I have a preference for the humanities.

Activities with friends... eh, I don't really know what people are supposed to do when they're around other people. Just talking with others and exchanging viewpoints, ideas, and critiques is always fun though.

Haha, I don't even know how to begin approaching that one! I think reality as it is seems inadequate in so many ways. I spend a lot of time cogitating plans for the betterment of society. I'd elaborate on specifics, but I suppose that could be a little divisive.

As for my current life situation, I like having the freedom and independence to pursue my interests and to mold and shape my identity.

My only strong opinion on my type as this point is that I'm probably not a logical type. I can't discuss things dispassionately and clinically for any amount of time without it feeling like I'm putting on an act.

...really indicative of at least one of the Delta NFs (more IEE)

also I wouldn't be surprised at a 4w3 IEE which is what I think my friend is.

What do you think of this?

Nice! I mean, I don't know about IEE, but certainly I'd rather sound like your friend than sound like your enemy lol.

I don't think any e-types are mutually exclusive of any s-types anyway.

really just your overall speech and interests sound like IEE to me.

    coming into contact with nature

Oooh, one of my favorite words.

I feel feisty, disconsolate, and twitterpated
I can almost hear my friend using those exact phrases.

looking back, I agree with coolanzon Si/Ne base, but also F creative. so either IEE or SEI, still thinking IEE. Btw my IEE friend also considers herself an introvert, though I don't know why because she's definitely not, at least when I'm around her.

I know it constantly talks about "concepts and ideas" as if they're about science or something, but think of it as insights that can be drawn from anything and about anything. Intuition is definitely not rational by itself.

you might want to try this description:

All 4s are IEI. Therefore you are IEI. Welcome. We have sandwiches (we didn't make them, our ESE moms did).

I was actually all prepared to say that you might really be IEI (I like walking through nature by myself, although to tell the truth I prefer walking through a crowded city at noon by myself), until I read this phrase:
I spend a lot of time cogitating plans for the betterment of society. I'd elaborate on specifics, but I suppose that could be a little divisive.
An IEI might think that in the back of his/her mind (Fi Id), but I don't imagine that he/she would almost ever say it. Of course, there is an IEI that's said that exact phrase, and so no one behavior can rule out a type, but I think that statement is an odd sentiment for an IEI to actually express. Therefore I'm OK with you being delta, even though that is the Official Boring Quadra for Boring Boring People (not even 3% true, not even of LSEs). IEE seems very likely for you over SEI. Fi makes way more sense for you than Fe, IMO.
Not a rule, just a trend.

IEI. Probably Fe subtype. Pretty sure I'm E4, sexual instinctual type, fairly confident that I'm a 3 wing now, so: IEI-Fe E4w3 sx/so. Considering 3w4 now, but pretty sure that 4 fits the best.

    Yes 'a ma'am that's pretty music...

I am grateful for the mystery of the soul, because without it, there could be no contemplation, except of the mysteries of divinity, which are far more dangerous to get wrong.

Let me explain that: I lack interest in becoming entangled in protracted ideological debates during a "type me" thread as that seems pointless and stupid in the given context, but in most situations I don't care if my opinions are controversial.

Thanks for your input. Still considering, though...

Oh, okay. I suppose I was overly fixated on an isolated statement anyway! (why isn't there a shrug smilie?)

Any particular reasons you're thinking SEI/not sure about IEE?

Particular reasons? No, I'm too vague and wishy-washy to deal in particulars. Generally, the matter is that I know little of socionics. To clarify, I don't necessarily suspect SEI over IEE; rather, I am merely dwelling in a reverie of enchanted uncertainty. It's very blitheful/blissed-out here. There's a lot of synchronicities and stuff.
