Default Could somebody help me with my type?

Hello, everyone. I've just stumbled onto this site on a quest for something completely different, and was intrigued enough to register. I would love it if somebody out there could help me find out my type. I've deeply researched the differences between two specific types that I waver between, and I'm still sort of on the fence. I'd really like to know other peoples' perceptions of me.

Should I answer some questions for you, put up a picture, write something? Maybe what I'll do is post a link to a blog I used to write. http://www.xanga.com/intuition79

It may be better to read entries from the beginning of the blog. Here's a picture of me:

Thanks so much for your help.

I agree. She reminds me very much of Kelly. God, I forget the name she uses to post.

She looks like her in a way and the things I have read seem pretty INFp.

If the title of your Xanga ("The Tragic Romantic: Musings from a Perfectionist"), not to mention your list of interests (Art, Books, Attachment Parenting, Yoga, Music, Health, Nature) isn't a giveaway for IXFp isn't a giveaway, then I'm not sure what is! And since you practically gave us the intuitive bit, I'm going to have to agree with Kraus and say INFp (Intuitive-Ethical Introvert). Welcome to the club!

Thanks so much for the input. So, definitely not INFJ, then?

Oh, man. I totally, totally wasn't.

Every test I have ever taken has shown INFJ. More often than not, people tell me they think I am INFP. I tend to identify a lot more with the INFJ profiling, but wanted to come to an unbiased source.

Also, I what I write online is a lot different to how I act in person. Online, I am always wary about how much information I put up, what kinds of emotions I express, and how people will perceive that. I don't know if that factors into it.

I truly thought I was INFJ. I'm glad I came here.

Also, I am much more of a bitch in person.

Does this mean anything to anyone?

    a tests suck

2 you may know how to manipulate the results

    c
Normal mode Reversed mode Combined mode
    0.84 0.83 0.84
The Scoring factor shows how much you are aware of your type and/or the testing procedure. Anything close to and above 0.8 is considered high and could interfere with authenticity of the test outcome.

God, I'm clearly not INFp. That test sucks. All tests suck. Go by profiles and be honest with yourself.

Also don't feel like a fool we all have to learn.

Pedro also isn't as abrasive as he seems.

Oh, Sycophant, you confused my already muddled brain. I was desperately trying to figure out if you were fucking with me. I had to look up your posts to see that, indeed, you are not an INFp.

The everlasting quest toward true honesty to oneself. A daunting task.

If I go by profiles, I absolutely, every time, identify completely with INFJ. I tend to try to be more INFP, in that I try to portray a more ... I don't know, PC (?) nature. I would like to talk about this in more detail. Hopefully others will weigh in. Do I look like a certain type based just on my photo?

Yeah you look like Kelly (INFp).

God, very cute kid by the way. You must be very proud.

That was a really, really hard question. I pondered that for a long time this morning. The triangle is the one I am more like. I like both of them the same.

    Do I win a prize?

Alright, I guess I need to come to grasp with being INFP, then. Thanks for all your help. Excellent prize.

And Sycophant, thanks for the compliment on my boy. I am very proud, yes.
