ENTp
You can say duh, but not everyone says duh and hence the article is important.Originally Posted by Transigent

1. The article would not appear in a first place if there would be no reason for it to be. It proves that the waters are not that clear and qwiet anymore but rahter dynamic and this is the step forward. I am glad to see that.
2. I don't know if people here on the site do actually understand what I am exactly doing here. Do I bring confusion to the theory, go against the mainstream? May be, but I am not alone anymore.
3. I would suggest rmcnew to look for his type somewhere definetly not in Gamma quadra, may be Delta or Beta?
The article is good but you can not stop the thought - it is free and strives for perfection.

Articles of such kinds are typical for us Seekers (ILE), not for Mentors (EIE). When a Seeker tells something, it's in order to load people's minds with mental work; when a Mentor tells something, it makes people act.
rmcnew, the above concerns your doubts about your own type
As for the article contents: it is in general true but too abstract. It would be better if you illustrate your statements (or at least a part of them) with practical examples. People who never participated in socionic discussions, who just come to your site for the first time, will not understand what this article is about.
www.socioniko.net is no longer my site.
Is it right, rmcnew? Are you sure about being ENTP?

The only thing I am sure about is being intuitive, everything else has been frought with so much debate that I am fatigued and cease to concern myself with it.Originally Posted by Olga

I love the illustrative column on the right:
That's exactly the sort of thing I would writeFigure 1:
Ideal Forms vs. Actual Forms
There is no such thing as a perfect square or circle found in nature!
Exactly my kind of thinking. No doubt for me we are mirrors, mcnew
Are Rick and gug-baba both ENTP?

Rick is IEE (ENFP) and gugu is LII (INTJ).
I wonder when people stop to confuse rmcnew with the typology? How on earth he will ever accept one of the types?
You better say what functions are weak if the person find it difficult to understand his own type? Is the type discription to abstract to diagest?
Do people remember what was an argument between the thinking line of mine and Sergei? I would go to determine the type from the weakest function, something that is not mention at all. Those two functions in disbalance- which the person is confused about must be the first and the last. And it could well be that the second/creative function is always registered or consciously represented. Function which the person is sure to be strongly represented in his type. When we overuse the creative function we feel disbalance, so we now the function which brings us trouble probably better than any other function.
And if I am wrong than we shall suggest the opposite that everybody knows his first dominant function. But I better stick to my line of thinking, sorry.

It seems as if the more people come to understand about Socionics. The more blurred the line between one type and another becomes. In the beginning you look for surface differences and then as you become more educated you fall into the black hole of doubt!
Just now read the article. It’s sufficient.
To Sychophant:
I like that picture on your post, can't explain what is magnificent about it.
It is static and detached like an old picture from the old times. It is not quite real but it is not abstract either. I feel it as - hypnotic sort of state. Did I tell before that a tree in a dream represents Life?

I get that muting "abstract" sensation also. Like, a complete static.
People love these vibes. I hate them.
Maybe that's why I am into the typical pop stuff.
thing.
It well may be nostalgia for some good times in the past. I miss my friends. Why people can not have everything they want in their lifes? When I lived in Russia I had a circle of friends, people who understand you and appreciate you but there was no happy family life and other problems as well. Now I have got evertyhing but not my friends and it seems impossible to get new. I don't know why is it so difficult when you get older to get friends. May be when we are young we all sort of similar (e.g not much experience of life) when you get older the difference gets so big plus distance.

Ah, I'm very fond of the tree too. It's... calming.
And now Olga you make me homesick. How vile!
