The relationship between quasi-identicals, duals, and conflictors is something that I'm interested in knowing more about. It would be great if people could post stories, examples, analyses, etc., of their experiences with and views of quasi-identical, conflicting and dual intertype relationships, especially the similarities between you and your quasi-identical, or between your dual and your conflictor, if any.
My theory is that quasi-identical pairs are superficially similar and totally divergent at the core, leading an individual which is the dual of one of the quasi-identicals and conflictor of the other either to expect positive things from the conflictor which never materialize, or expect negative things from the dual which surprisingly do not appear. I am interested in gathering data to study this hypothesis, as well as general quasi-identical/dual/conflictor relations. The hypothesized action might also involve a little-based patternmaking though, so the theory might be less applicable to
valuers, or a similar thing may manifest itself in a different way.
Anyway, all input appreciated!
